That’s not too far from where I’m at. I’m about 60 miles due east of there— in New York’s Southern Tier.
To: Liberty Valance
Wow. That’s high praise indeed. (I think?)
I like Deadliest Catch. :)

I’ll prolly be there in about a month.
What day is incalculable. It would be cool to meet you.
I think Presque is about 90 mi from my hometown. Its a nice place to spent the day, or weekend

Thanks for the thread Lainie, lots of fun as always! (news just said judge ordered Penn casinos to stay open, whats up with that!?)
To: Cheapskate
To answer your question about a casino at Chester, you're probably more in the loop than I am. Maybe I'll make it to that area of PA someday, esp. since I can no longer afford a passport at almost 90 dollars to go to Canada or Mexico, so my future vacations will be within these borders.

You're not looking hard enough. There was an article posted last year about how Walmart saved upwards of $4M putting CFLs in all the ceiling fans on display.
I'll use them where it makes sense. I put one in my bedtime reading lamp. Has a warm color, though.

I'm in Illinois, but I play the Harness races at a local OTB.
These OTB's are great. I can play must any track in the country.

Not sure, but my first guess would be: The casinos bring in too much jingle to shut them down?
Nite, and thanks everybody! Have a good week.

I saw him. He played our local performing arts center. His version of the national anthem made the hair on my arms stand up. SO cool. He met with all the kids afterwards.. had a great vibe.
