I SWEAR I didn't forward this idiot's postings on Yahoo's Haliburton, Cisco and Siri Boards to the Federal Protective Service!(snicker...)

This is the Purdue Grad Assistant that hacked HUNDREDS of Yahoo ID's, and ran a bot posting MILLIONS of Anti-Bush messages across many Yahoo Financial Boards from about early 2004, on...

Seems he finally let his mouth outrun his brain, and I said so in the deposition (oops!)

Sounds like he ran a real cyber-jihad, as opposed to the one the newspeople proclaimed the Pajama People participate in.

“...that should be protected by free-speech rights.”

That’s rich. Steal the identities of other Americans online, post hateful and threatening messages in THEIR names (getting them investigated), and then proclaim “your own free speech rights” are being violated.

Try, convinct, imprison for treason.

Defense attorney John Martin said Buddhi had no intention of actually harming anyone.

“Where does it say Mr. Buddhi is going to kill the president (or) the vice president?” he argued. “It doesn’t. These comments are posted in the context of the debate about the Iraq War,”

As an attorney, Mr. Martin should be fully aware that it is against the law to make terroristic threats whether you actually intend to follow through or not.

Buddhi, who spent a decade studying at Purdue in West Lafayette, ...

#######

On other people’s money, no doubt. So using other people’s IDs was not problem for his ‘ethical’ outlook.

So, do we know if this specimen is a follower of the R0P? Do you think he will get the full 35 years? Or will they give him a couple of years and deport him? If so, he should be barred from re-entering the U.S. in perpetuity. I think the best way to punish some of these people is to forbid and prevent them from ever again living in a Western country. Make them return to and enjoy the delights of living in their natal and ancestral hell holes.

Buddhi, who spent a decade studying at Purdue in West Lafayette,

If you have spent a decade studying and you are still just a "Grad Assistant" then you are a slacker of the highest order.

That guy was a real ‘hole, talking about “raping Laura Bush” and blowing up power plants among other things. He learned too late that cloaking and anonomizing software doesn’t always work for those who want to hide their tracks.

It IS a propoganda war, folks, and we see examples of it, EVERY DAY.

I found this discussion of his case. See my tagline. These people are amazing and arrogant. They think they have a RIGHT to come here and live among us and do what they want.

Buddhi, who spent a decade studying at Purdue in West Lafayette, never disputed writing online messages such as, “Call for the assassination of GW Bush” and “Rape and Kill Laura Bush.”

Clearly a case of anti-Muslim discrimination, as is amply demonstrated by the fact that Bill Maurer is still walking the streets freely.

Vikram is a Hindu name, but he could very easily be a convert. Then again, he could be a lefto nutbag who is not particularly religious one way or another.

Rather, the U.S. District Court jury in Hammond had to decide whether Buddhi’s comments were true threats or part of a crude online protest of the Iraq War that should be protected by free-speech rights.

No problem - Buddhi will have up to 35 years as a guest of the Feds to decide whether the jury's decision was a true threat to him, or just part of a crude protest of his "free-speech rights"...

I saw some rabid messages on Yahoo’s Haliburton stock board and wondered what was going on. Didn’t see any direct threats, though, or I would have been on the phone reporting them.
