Filmmaker Michael Moore went off on CNN anchor Wolf Blitzer during an interview Monday to promote his latest documentary 'Sicko'. Moore blasted the anchor and the network for not doing enough to stop the Iraq war and for doing a 'crap' report on his new film. Moore also mocked the pronunciation of chief medical correspondent, Dr. Sanjay Gupta.

CNN’s healthcare coverage is about as left spun as one can imagine. Some of their pieces are drawn directly from obscure leftwing talking points, such as their coverage of Health Savings Accounts, for instance.

But, not as funny as a multi-millionaire —who, by appearances, does not undertake any physical activity more excessive than lifting a cheeseburger to his mouth — asking that his health care be paid for by everyday working stiffs. Wolf or Dr. Gupta should take the opportunity to ask Mikey about one of his FReeper nicknames, “Lumpy Riefenstahl.”
I was flipping and saw the weirdo screaming mad at Wolf. It was rather odd to see him ranting against CNN. Moore kept saying read my blog I will have this up after this and you will hear the truth. Moore definately took off on Dr. Gupta which Wolf said later was in surgery today so couldn’t join us tonight.
Moore was screaching throughout until someone told him to calm down, which he did for alittle, probably because he wasn’t making any points about his movie.

One thing I give to Moore, whatever he has done has made money. The worst thing for him would be some serious financial loss. He is immune to criticism, in fact he benefits from controversy.

At the end of the clip Moore very deliberately and with animated facial expression mocks and exaggerates Gupta's name. He was clearly attempting to do a piece of Indian dialect shtick.
There was nothing subtle about this racist slur.

People are missing the real gem buried in this video clip - first he starts out by saying that he doesn’t speak in soundbites, and then towards the end he emphasizes that he will only do ‘live’ interviews rather than taped ones, and he mercilessly rakes Blitzer over the coals because Moore claims he is afraid that his remarks will be edited and taken out of context to distort his meaning. What a total putz. After all, who in the world is the master of deceit, lies and fraud who has made his millions by intentionally taking other peoples’ words out of context to distort their meaning and thereby to propagate his lie-du-jour? Of course, it’s the despicable Michael Moore who has made a career out of pumping out exactly such knowingly-and-carefully-crafted distortions and lies. Same here. I watched it all the way to the end. He didn't misprounounce the name. He emphasized it back to Blitzer because Blitzer kept using the name over and over and over.
