(sigh) That lists Tony Snow's show as tied with Al Franken and G. Gordon Liddy. Tony's show, however, was new, not on many stations but growing in popularity. We couldn't listen in Michigan so I caught it on the internet.

He's got to lick his cancer because he's got a life in radio after 2008!

Actually, you can now listen to Howie Carr’s “subs” and not Howie Carr, himself, on WRKO.

Sandy is a “leftist” and also a lawyer who far too often rudely interrupted Howie’s show over and over again whenever Howie is trying to talk! Very annoying, and very rude! Still, I wouldn’t be surprised if Sandy also hosts her own radio show very soon on WRKO as well as sub for Howie Carr very soon.

Tony Snow...because he's got a life in radio after 2008!

Yeah, if most of his former listeners forgive him for that "destroy the country amnesty" fiasco he was going around lying about.

Job or no job, it was unseemly.

The only job he's good for in media nowadays is getting me to change the channel or station when he comes on.

And I use to like his FNC Weekend broadcasts.

Howie is often distracting during Sandy's reading of the Police Blotter faxes.

VB got so fed up with her interruptions during his guest hosting one day, that didn't he tell her not to speak unless he played a bell or some other sound effect?

Sandy is not as much of a leftist as you think. I have met her and had numerous discussions with her - she is far from being a full blown leftist. Every time I have met her she has been very friendly and has a great sense of humor. If you listen to her you’ll more often than not find her taking a more right wing course on many issues. Granted, she is left on some issues but is not a moonbat.
Personally, I like her. oh, almost forgot -
she is also among us as a member of FR.

Sandy’s frequent interruptions of Howie Carr have always annoyed me. When there truly was something of importance that Sandy needed to interrupt Howie, then fine. But Sandy interrupted Howie over the littlest of reasons sometimes, and she got into the habit of interrupting Howie frequently over anything and everything. VB did have problems with Sandy’s interruptions as well. Very annoying.

She seems like an excellent producer to me.

I do like Sandy’s laugh, and, like I said before, I do see her hosting her own radio talk show very soon. Howie was nice enough to have Sandy host for him at least three times if not more. Everyone here wants to know what happens, if anything, to Sandy with this latest move by Howie?

Limbaugh never lets his staff on air. And here I thought it was just his ego, not good management of his show.

I suspect there is good reason Sandy has been Howie’s producer for so long. She really knows the ropes and does an excellent job. Howie sure would not put up with anything less than an excellent work ethic.
You two would really like her in person I’d bet. She has always been very accommodating and nice.
I wish I knew she had been taken care of with Howies new signing but the news has said nothing.

Rush has occasionally had his staff on the air. The last time that I can remember him having his staff on the air was to sing “Happy Birthday” to him while giving him a Birthday Cake. It was very sweet (pun intended).

Why risk anything by messing with a winning formula? It makes no sense to me.

TKK is looking to reclaim the AM listeners hey lost when Imas was canned. Howie is a proven talent in the region and the morning commute is prime time in the talk market.

Barnicle sucks and the afternoon slots are doing well right now, the PM slots are not broke and therefore don't need to be fixed, the morning slot is broken and Howie is the best tool available to fixthe problem.

Ditto on ALL counts! Including your handle!

That was before I understood what P-town was...

Hey, I like P-town, and no. (No, I am not.)

Lotsa artsy-fartsy resort areas attract the Nathan Lane set, Key West, Mendicino, ... comes with the territory. You just have to be careful which bars you duck into.

I'm on the Libertarian leaning side of conservative, so I don't care what they do as long as they don't do it in the road and scare the horses. I admit I liked it better when the love which dare not speak its name didn't proclaim itself from every rooftop.

If we didn't have public schools and if the government would kindly disentangle itself from the current perverse (no pun intended) health care finance system, most of the public policy issues associated with homosexuality would evaporate.
