uslims and evangelical Christians are talking — at least behind closed doors at the Egyptian Embassy — according to several guests at a top-secret lunch last week.
The July 2 gathering lasted two hours and featured ambassadors from nine Arab states plus their umbrella group, and several prominent evangelical leaders or their sons.
"They were assessing the next generation," said Richard Cizik, vice president for governmental affairs of the National Association of Evangelicals (NAE) and one of the participants. "The meeting was reflective of the generational changes that are happening, and everyone knew it."
The meeting, which was orchestrated by Pentecostal evangelist Benny Hinn, focused on two issues, though the two groups had differing priorities. Whereas the Americans wanted to discuss the lack of religious freedom in Muslim countries, the ambassadors wanted to know whether Christians could become more "balanced" in their support of Israel.

They can decide things between themselves I suppose, but these people have no gov’t authority to decide things for everyone. They don’t even have the authority to decide things for all evangelicals. So as long as they remember they speak only for themselves and perhaps their own organizations if they are so authorized, then fine. Whatever. It’s a strange group.
Hinn should have just stood up and swung his suit jacket at them and watched “their bodies hit the floor!!!”

If the Christian community is trying to make a positive influence on Islam, why do we put forward Benny Hinn, for crying out loud....no wonder they think Christians are dolts.
If you don’t understand the reality of being “slain in the spirit”, I can explain it to you. There’s no need to ridicule others for what they believe.
Not ridiculing anybody.
Benny could have slain them with a swoosh of his suit jacket, right?
Or no?
Excuse me .. what you’re saying is ridicule.
If you don’t understand what Benny Hinn is doing - then just ask questions, instead of making your idiot comments. Obviously, you have never been slain in the spirit. Obviously, you are ignorant of what you speak - it would be better for you to pick a subject you know something about.
Being ignorant of how God operates does not give you license to make fun of it. Your comments only make you look stupid.
Au contrare.
Nothing I could do or say would add to how ridiculous Hinn's productions are.
PT Barnum was right.
BTW: There is no scripture reference I know of where people fell en masse backwards
when a prophet or disciple waved their hands. Seriously, do you know of one?
