1964 was the first year I was old enough to vote. I was one of the few who voted for Barry Goldwater for POTUS. His campaign slogan was “in your heart you know he’s right”. It did not take long after his landslide defeat to LBJ for billboards to pop up every where proclaiming “now you know he was right”. We never would have lost the war in Viet Nam had Mr. Goldwater been elected. The “great society” would never have been dumped upon us either. America suffered a terrible loss in 1964.

Setting up young murderer Ted's Immigration Reform Act that removed all rational standards and criteria. That our nation still strives to exist at a level above most others 40-plus years on is a testament to our founders vision over the destructive forces doing their best to tear it down.
