Corsi's Decision Blow To Immigration Party
America Talks ^ | July 15, 2007 | David Zublick

Posted on 07/15/2007 12:29:24 PM PDT by AmericaTalks

Dr. Jerome Corsi, a frequent guest on my radio program, has made the decision not to accept the draft by the Veteran's Coalition of the Constitution Party to run for the presidential nomination in 2008.

It was a very difficult choice to make. Corsi felt obligated to get out the message of his new book The Late Great USA, warning that American sovereignty is threatened by the Security and Prosperity Partnership and the North America Union.

While we respect Dr. Corsi's decision, we deeply regret the fact that he has chosen not to run. For the first time in United States history, a viable third party candidate was available, one that could have made a real difference in this country. Corsi is a true American patriot, a man who understands the deep, complex and important issues facing this great nation. His comprehension of issues regarding immigration, the threat from Iran and other nations in the Middle East, and domestic issues would have made him the ideal candidate for the third largest political party in the United States to put forth.

Corsi understands the importance of keeping our nation from integrating politically, socially and economically with Canada and Mexico. He knows George W. Bush is a one-worlder just like his father, who would easily sell our sovereignty down the river, which would set Americans up for a catastrophe from which we might never recover.

We can only hope that the Constitution Party will be able to find another potential candidate with as much insight as Jerome Corsi. If not, I feel the choices we will be left with in 2008 will help to propel a liberal socialist into the White House, which would be equally disastrous.

For complete coverage of the political landscape, listen to America Talks Monday through Friday at 10 pm eastern time at www.americatalks.com.

I think the Constitution Party should focus on Congressional races and act as a check on the GOP, like the Conservative Party does in New York.

Besides, if someone like Hunter or Tancredo wins the nomination, are they going to run a presidential candidate too and split the conservative vote?

Book sales before country. I wonder if he's a Chinese agent?

There are one or two men in the race that might be a step in the right direction. Corsi should look at endorsing one of them.

Sheesh! Who in the “H” knows this guy other than those of us whom have finally broken with the fear of being labeled “Crackpot” because we understand the good works of Dr. Corsi.

I for one am relieved he will continue to persue informing us all the more of the treasonous treachery that Special Interests are working diligently to impose upon our Nation.

Book before country, but then Corsi apparently isn’t that naive to believe he really had a chance with the CP. Hell the GOP is featuring some candidates with views that would satisfy most CPs and they can’t get above a - or a couple of %.

But there is always Keyes, that Baldwin feller in FL. and others I'm sure that are for hire.

Yes, I laughed out loud at whoever this guy with the radio show is who said Corsi was a "viable candidate." He's about as "viable" as Dennis Kucinich. And I have NOTHING against Corsi, but I'm sure that a heck of a lot more people at least have some idea of who Kucinich is as opposed to Corsi.

BINGO. They shouldn’t be going for the big prize until they can at least get a few people elected to the state and US legislatures...or at least dog catcher.

The would have a national podium to speak from, increased visibility, a chance to shape real legislation, and won’t risk getting a democrat elected president.

Like he would have done anything as the presidential candidate of a third party.

Not considering how the media buries third party candidates. They promote book authors more than third parties.

I think ALL third parties should have an equal shake at the stick at the major two do in everystate. It would promote more “minority” views in Congress, possilby breaking the “special” interest monopoly: one can only hope. However I would favor a system in EVERY state like that of NYS’s Conservative party (a “fusion” type system) where if the Rep were getting libery the Cons could field their own candidate, also could “endorse” good “R”’s..

The CP should focus on a region that way they get Congressmen elected in that area (govern that state-areas for a while), then spread. That is the ONLY way a third party really can sustain itself, however the circumstances in ‘08 may push up CP Membership for that election only, as the Republicans ARE about to commit ‘suicide’,..again by nominating a ‘libera’ as their Candide for POTUS ‘08!

And would in effect create a parliamentary system like that popular in Europe. No thank you to THAT mess.

No because (and apparently you like to read more into the writings of those you read, than are really there!), becuase WE would still be electing our representatives by Electoral District, NOT Proportional representation; I am only talking “Ballot Access”-as in ALL minority parties OUGHT to be allowed ballot access in all federal races such as Congress, President, Senate.
