175 Million New Recruits for Jihad?

HUA HIN, Thailand - Many people in the US were surprised to learn that some of the alleged terrorists in the London and Glasgow attacks were medical doctors. But Asians were more interested to learn that they were Indians.

India has the world's second largest population of Muslims after Indonesia, but this is the first instance of Indian Muslims being involved in international terrorism. For example, not one Indian citizen is detained at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, where the US keeps terror suspects.

Three of the core suspects in the London/Glasgow affair, Kafeel Ahmed, his brother Sabeel Ahmed and their cousin in Australia Mohammed Haneef all came from the southern Indian state of Karnataka. Although Mohammed and Sabeel were doctors, Kafeel was an aeronautical engineer.

The man that British authorities believe tried to ram his Jeep Cherokee into Glasgow International Airport had worked for Infotech an Indian outsourcing company based in Bangalore that designs aircraft parts for Airbus Industrie and Boeing.

All three had studied in Bangalore, which is India's information technology capital and probably its most cosmopolitan city, the poster-child for the "flat", globally connected world of which India has become an important part.

As far as anyone knows, the alleged terrorists did not come from some impoverished Muslim ghetto; nor did they get indoctrinated at madrassa religious schools. That's not to say that they were radicalized only after they emigrated to Britain and Australia.

Suffering from a collective "conflict of conscience" and what Pope Benedict XVI would describe as a "pathological self-hatred", America and much of the West have taken to their impending dhimmitude like a duck to water. Never before in the history of Islamic revival has a nation so willingly subjugated itself. The President and the Commander in Chief of America's armed forces removing his shoes and not only paying homage and reverence to the will of Allah, but actually promoting Islam as a religion of peace, female government officials donning the hijab for the sake of Allah. These are all extremely powerful phantasmagorical images that substantiate the prophecies of Al Qaeda and Osama Bin Laden and encourage more to join the call for jihad.

Wherever there are Muslims there is a fertile ground for terrorism.

Curious who is behind all the trouble in Kashmir then, if it is not Indian Muslims?

The founders of their religion were a thousand times the men these are. A couple hundred Saracens on horses and waving swords went from village to village across Africa. How do they need 175 million now?

Curious how all the Dogma Uber Alles ‘Net Warriors screaming their hate at Islam continually refuse to acknowledge that most of the people fighting and dying ON OUR SIDE are Muslims?

Do they ever bother to consider the Kurds are Muslims?

Funny, Napoleon in Spain, the Nazis in Eastern Europe and the Russians in Afghanistan waged Counter Insurgency following their absolutes ideological based purist doctrines. They all lost badly.

Let us explore the logic of these “Islam is evil”: ranters.

Most KKKers claim to be Christians. IF you accept the “logic” expressed that all Islam is evil because some do evil in the name of Islam, then you must also accept, using the the exact same logic, that Christianity is a religion of racists.

Counter Insurgency is not Total War. Way past time the Know Nothing learn the differences. Spending all their time mindlessly slandering our allies’s religion, and posting absurd empty ranting against the own leadership, does only ONE thing, help Al Qeda's PR efforts.

How do they need 175 million now?

Because we have 20 mm chain guns, laser and GPS guided bombs,
MOABS, etc. And in the extreme, some mushroom clouds.

Unlike the puny spears and swords that oppossed their forefathers.
Or the Maxim guns that mowed down waves of them in the late 1800s.

They'll need more cannon fodder this time out.

I'm not saying the Islamics won't win this struggle.
It's just that the price of victory will be a couple of orders
of magnitude higher this time.

You are accusing me of slandering our allies' religion?

And secondly, weakness in lieu of resolve is what fuels Al Qaeda's PR efforts

Because those 'villages' have turned into cities.

(there are more non-Muslims today, too--from around 1 billion people estimated around the globe then (?) to roughly 6.5 billion today, and Muslims are no longer fighting mainly by the sword, but against people with with tanks, airplanes, high-tech soldiers, and massive navies.

And for a general comment out there:

India seems strong enough to keep itself intact and most of its Muslim population in line.

Alienating all Muslims does help drive them more toward alqaeda.

This war isn't against all Muslims (though they should reform their religion--or, along with all non-Christians, become Christians), but against the islamofascists.

Also--off topic, and this isn't with the intent of derailing the thread--Klansmen would not be Creationist 'Christians' (though it could be that some racists are Christians--all human creatures have their flaws).

If we leave Iraq before we crush the terrorists there, then the islamic terrorism worldwide will emboldened beyond imagination and they will have tens of millions of volunteers ready to cause us death and destruction on a scale that is beyond belief.

What do those verses have to do with the way most of the worlds Muslims live their lives?

The radical loser (Long Read)
Der Spiegel ^ | 1/12/05 | Hans Magnus Enzensberger

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1694568/posts

(snip)

Contrary to what the West appears to believe, the destructive energy of Islamist actions is directed mainly against Muslims. This is not a tactical error, not a case of “collateral damage”. In Algeria alone, Islamist terror has cost the lives of at least 50,000 fellow Algerians. Other sources speak of as many as 150,000 murders, although the military and the secret services were also involved. In Iraq and Afghanistan, too, the number of Muslim victims far outstrips the death toll among foreigners. Furthermore, terrorism has been highly detrimental not only to the image of Islam but also to the living conditions of Muslims around the world.

The Islamists are as unconcerned about this as the Nazis were about the downfall of Germany. As the avant-garde of death, they have no regard for the lives of their fellow believers. In the eyes of the Islamists, the fact that most Muslims have no desire to blow themselves and others sky high only goes to show that they deserve no better than to be liquidated themselves. After all, the aim of the radical loser is to make as many other people into losers as possible. As the Islamists see it, the fact that they are in the minority can only be because they are the chosen few.

Pinging you all to a crappy article.......

“In India Muslims have gone on rampages, but they have usually been tit-for-tat reactions to Hindu provocations, such as the 1992 destruction by militant Hindus of the Babri Masjid Mosque, which stood on ground sacred to Hindus. In other words, they were strictly Indian affairs.”

In other words India’s Muslim problems have been strictly India’s problems while Muslim problem in the West is the world ‘s problem. The “West” seems to be in love their double standards and would never learn any lesson.

In India Muslims have gone on rampages for the last 1100 years. The greatest genecide in human history is the extermination of non-Muslims (primarily Hindus and Buddhists) by the descendants of Ghori, Ghaznavi, Babar and their descendants. The West is not aware of this fact and continues its double standards.

This author is a fool and needs to be treated with the contempt he deserves. What a dhimmi!

Maybe the Indian press should write articles claiming that 9/11 and 7/7 are a result of Islamic problems endemic to the west or rather “strictly western affairs”. And there are actually a lot more easy arguments available to support such a claim. All they will need to do is dig up all the rhetoric from the MSM that war against Iraq, Afghanistan and Palestine is the “root cause” of terrorism.

Maybe only then will authors like the above kind will see the irony of their stand.

The whole thing plays like a broken record. Earlier it was the Khalistan extremists, now the Islamists.

That “...it’s not our problem” attitude will get a lot many killed. The learning curve on such issues is pretty much flat.

Well, shoot, of course they are, were.

What a hysterical piece, a couple of numbnut bozos from India get a jihad fetish and this pansy freaks!

It’s funny, when it’s Pakistanis, the operative phrase is South Asians, when it’s Indians, it’s Indians!

As I said after 911, America woke up(relatively) and thought a war had just begun. All America did was sorta join the party that’s been going on for a millenium plus.

Of course, being hit by the very people we had supported and nurtured in the past is hard - like finding out your mistress has been cheating on you!

Well.....that way...... much Britain is a pansy now that they are the targets and not the friends/allies they used to be.

They are shit scared of the Muslims so better to take it out on Indians.

“after 911, America woke up(relatively) and thought a war had just begun. “

And woke up all disoriented and disheveled without a damn clue about who to fight.

>>without a damn clue about who to fight.

That’s been the essential conundrum. However, it’s not naivete or stupidity, but wilful. Deliberately muddying the waters and distracting attention from the green curtain, so to speak.

Some entities are too valuable. The repercussions of taking on those people are just too financially and politically damaging to confront, in the POV of those who run these things at the top.
