At least four people have been killed in a blast at a lawyers' rally in Islamabad, Pakistani police say.
Ousted chief justice Iftikhar Chaudhry was due to address the rally in the capital, but was not present at the time of the blast, officials said.
Television footage showed blood at the scene of the explosion and several people lying motionless on the ground.
It is not clear what caused the blast. Police said it might have been a suicide bombing.
No joke
Amazing, isn’t it? There is no real target, just a gathering of people. Seems like in an Islamic country, any gathering of people is a target for terrorism. It doesn’t matter who is at the gathering, or what side they are on, just that there are enough bodies to insure a high death count.
How come Baghdad got the suicide bombers and Washington got the lawyers? You guessed it. Baghdad had first choice.
All those players on the field, and nobody to root for...not even the referees.
Explosives perhaps?
