To the isolationist right (Paul, Buchanan, Raimondo, etc.) anyone who even moderately supports Israel and/or the War on Terror is a dreaded “neocon”.
Poll results are the result of DUers wanting to skew the results. The email is really from a genuine Ron Paul supporter.
Since you posted it, it is interesting that the person emailing would consider Fred Thompson a "RINO" - Republican in Name Only - while making whatever comparison he is attempting visa vi Ron Paul.
Mr. Paul is certainly a "prime example" of Republican in Name Only as he is a died in the wool Libertarian, who could not get elected as such, so he ran as a Republican.
Some of Mr. Paul's ideas have traction with this "no longer party affiliated" conservative, but as with most Libertarians others are completely off the wall.
Anyway an interesting post, from more than one view.
