“The chance of being killed in a terrorist attack, he said, is 1 in 80,000 over a lifetime.”
Unless, of course, you’re a suicide bomber dying for Islamic Jihad.

The chance of being killed in a terrorist attack, he said, is 1 in 80,000 over a lifetime. Large scale terror attacks effect more than just the people who get killed. We lost about a million jobs, billions in stock market market value and had a cold as ice job market for about a year.
If the jihadis pull it again, we should cause them similar disquiet, possibly take reperations in oil or just nuke em glowing.

CAIR blames White House for boosting 'Islamophobia'I blame Islam.
To: period end of story
I blame the White House for NOT boosting Islamophobia as much as possible.
Islamophobia should be instilled in ALL westerners.
Islam is an evil cult, not a religion, they are just as dedicated to covnerting us to their insane cult as ever and they are willing to kill as many people as possible to accomplish it.

Yeah, I guess you could blame Thomas Jefferson for being the first president that had to deal with the threat of Islam. So it is the fault of the White House.

I would say the recent attempted bombings in England and Scotland also boost Islamophobia. What about the various televised threats from Zawkarwi (sp) et al?
Why doesn’t CAIR take a strong stand AGAINST the islamists?
The muslims need look no further than their own noses and they need no help from the whitehouse to boost Islamophobia.

The chance of being killed in a terrorist attack, he said, is 1 in 80,000 over a lifetime.
I'm sure that's a comforting thought to the 3,000 victims of islamist muslim terror who were brutally murdered on 9/11, and to the tens of thousands of other victims worldwide who have suffered a terrible fate at the hands of bloodthirsty muslims 'proclaiming' their faith.
You can go to hell, Ahmed.

I wouldn't have "Muslimphobia" except for the fact that I've read the Koran. To paraphrase the movie "Ahmed, you Islamic bastard....I read your book!"
To: Vision
He’s basically calling for a revolution in that statement, and no amount of spinning can alter that fact.

Another 9-11 sized attack on US soil by Islamic fascists will make it very uncomfortable for CAIR as well as rank and file US Muslims. They missed an opportunity about 6 years ago to speak out against such Muslim extremism and more importantly have failed to purge their mosques and schools of those who preach or advocate murderous jihad. A time will come when Muslims both good and bad will suffer equally for this inaction.

How about they stop being uncivilized thugs and get that down to 0 in 80,000.
Nah, that be the right thing to do...

He's right about one thing:
"Terrorism is a tactic. You cannot eradicate it by declaring a war against it" -- any more than we could have won WWII by declaring war against "kamikaze attacks" or "night bombing raids."
If we want to eradicate terrorism we need to (1) name the enemy that's using this tactic, and then (2) destroy utterly that enemy, its supporters, and its enablers, letting the freaking chips fall where they may... as some fellow in the government suggested about six years ago.
