I suspect many ‘military men’ in Russia are still having the cold-war mentality. After all, that’s how they were educated. Fast changes in the 1990s were not enough to change their attitudes toward the US.

If I were Russia, I would be more worried about their friends to the south.

The Russian’s have been going nuts lately.Instead of worrying about the United States taking over their Siberian Resources they should be worrying about their neighbors the Chicoms who are starved for energy and natural resources.

The Paper Tiger will, maybe, someday wake up. Until then, America is in deep trouble.

Didn’t the Russians just claim something was theirs like the North Pole last week.
If they try to enforce a deal like that with their military, you better believe they have a battle on their hands.

These idiots better be looking out for the very real Red Chinese threat to Siberia rather than an imaginary threat from the U.S.
To: Mr. Jeeves
Agreed, but dismissing this out of hand is not in anyone’s best interest - developments in Russia right now are a bit unsettling -

First say the other guy is going to attack and then do everything that might provoke it.
