by Joseph Shahda Saddam

In April of 2007 the media wing for al Qaeda in Iraq and the Islamic State in Iraq, Al Furqan, released a video documentary about their Kurdistan Units in Northern Iraq. The video training and also conducting an attack on a Kurdish militia vehicle. The video documentary (click images to view) is titled "Al Awda Ila Al Jibal" or "The Return To The Mountains."

According to the jihadist websites (World News Network) and forums who posted copies of the video the footage was shot somewhere between 2002 and early 2003, when al Qaeda was moving fighters to Iraq under the leadership of Abu Musab al-Zarqawi.

Exactly. Hussain brought a severly injured al qaida leader into Iraq for emergency surgury and then let him set up camps in northern iraq for training and for producing and exporting ricin to England. The MSM reported it then but coveniently fails to read or listen to their own prior reports.

So it is any wonder fewer and fewer people pay any attnetyion otthe MSM now.

If I recall correctly Laurie Myroie had sent me an email stating that the Kurds had important information on Salman Paks existence around that time and had provided us with some intelligence.

I would love to read more about it.

Al-Duri Linked to Ansar al-Islam, AP

Laurie Mylroie
Wed, 29 Oct 2003 23:47:24 -0800

Official: Saddam Confidant Linked to Terror Group
Associated Press
Wednesday, October 29, 2003

WASHINGTON - A senior member of Saddam Hussein ousted government is believed
to be helping coordinate attacks on American forces with members of an Al
Qaeda-linked terrorist group, a senior defense official said Wednesday.

Two captured members of Ansar al-Islam have said Izzat Ibrahim al-Douri is
helping to coordinate their attacks, the official said, speaking on
condition of anonymity.

That information is the first solid evidence of links between remnants of
Saddam’s regime and the non-Iraqi fighters responsible for at least some of
the attacks on U.S. forces and their Iraqi allies, the official said.

Pentagon officials say Ansar al-Islam, which operated in northern Iraq
before its camp was destroyed during the war, poses one of the greatest
threats in Iraq. Military commanders have said they believe hundreds of
non-Iraqi fighters from Ansar have entered Iraq to fight the U.S.-led
occupation, many of them through neighboring Iran.

Al-Douri is No. 6 on the most-wanted list of 55 Iraqis and was vice chairman
of Saddam’s Revolutionary Command Council.

He was one of Saddam’s few longtime confidants and his daughter was married
to Saddam’s son, Uday, who was killed in a raid by U.S. forces in July.

NBC News first reported the al-Douri link to Ansar al-Islam Tuesday night.
Asked Wednesday about the report, Pentagon spokesman Larry Di Rita said he
did not know anything about it.

Attacks on American troops have surged this week to about 33 per day, up
from 26 per day last week and 15 per day in early September. A series of car
bombings in and near Baghdad this week killed more than three dozen people.

U.S. officials have been searching for months for suspected links between
Saddam loyalists and foreign fighters like Ansar members. President Bush and
other U.S. officials have said they believe the bombings in Baghdad Monday
were the work of Saddam loyalists, foreign fighters or both.

Pentagon officials say the Baghdad bombings — four explosions in different
parts of the city in less than an hour — show a level of sophistication
they had not seen before. Di Rita said the bombings indicated coordination
“at least at the regional level.”

The defense official who discussed the al-Douri link said he did not know if
the al-Douri-Ansar alliance was responsible for the Baghdad bombings. He
said military officials don’t know to what extent al-Douri was coordinating
attacks with Ansar.

Earlier this month, American forces captured a top associate of al-Douri in
the town of Baqouba north of Baghdad.

U.S. officials have said for at least two months they suspect al-Douri of
coordinating attacks on Americans but had not previously linked him to
Ansar.

U.S. officials say Ansar al-Islam has links to Al Qaeda and has experimented
with producing crude biological and chemical weapons. The group operated in
a small section of northern Iraq surrounded by Kurdish-controlled areas
which were outside Saddam’s control.

Kurdish officials have long alleged that Saddam’s government helped Ansar,
but U.S. officials have said they haven’t yet found definitive proof of
that.

No, see, they WERE there while Bill Clinton was in office, and Saddam funded Islamic cults ONLY while Bill Clinton was in office, Saddam and Sons had WMD, and billions in capabilities for WMD, and threatened the US, ONLY while Bill Clinton was in office.

Once GW Bush became President, Saddam and Sons decided to turn over a new leaf.

I was trying to post this at the website by the comment section is not working properly.
....

Remember also that Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, while based in Iraq, had directed the assassination of U.S. Diplomat Foley in Jordan on October 28, 2002. This means Al-Qaeda was based in Iraq befoere the start of the war and was active in directing successful attacks against Americans and American interests.

http://archives.cnn.com/2002/WORLD/meast/12/14/jordan.killing/index.html

Also the foiled chemical bomb plot against Jordan (supposed to kill 80,000) and American interests in Jordan was also plotted from Iraq by Abu Musab al-Zarqawi.

President Bush has been right from day one. What the MSM tries to do is confuse their leftist sheep into believing that Bush said that Saddam was tied to al-Qaeda and the 9/11 attack.

Sad thing is while Bill Clinton was in office he ignored his advisors on the Middle East such as Laurie Mylroie and Mansoor Ijaz.

Clinton's advisor Dick Morris and Senior Military Aide LT Buzz Paterson have both confirmed how Laurie and Mansoor were ignored while trying to present critical information about Al Qaeda and Bin Laden.

.
And BOX CUTTERS, (Mark Levin moment)

.
Salman Pak is also where the Jet Airliner was on the ground.

.
Democrats would have you believe that Jet was for training the stewardresses, and the Democrat Majority press will back them.

Great Article

Hand in Glove (Iraq and al Qaeda)
National Review ^ | Feb.18, 2003 | Mansoor Ijaz

Posted on 02/18/2003 9:11:38 AM EST by conservativecorner

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/845892/posts

“There is other evidence of Ansar’s al Qaeda overlay. While recuperating at base camp in the late summer, Zarqawi gave an order (in line with al Qaeda’s new directive for political assassinations) to have Laurence Foley, an American diplomat working for USAID in Amman, assassinated. His direct involvement was confirmed by the two murder suspects arrested in Amman during their confessional statements.

Then, on Feb. 9, a prominent secular Kurdish leader, Gen. Shawkat Haji Mushir, and five others were murdered in the northern Kurdish region of Iraq in apparent retaliation for the Powell expose of Ansar and Zarqawi. The modus operandi of the murder was eerily similar to the September 2001 bin Laden-sponsored assassination of Afghan resistance leader, Ahmed Shah Masood, where al Qaeda operatives posing as journalists exploded the TV camcorder in Masood’s face.”

Thank you for that translation

That is the first one I have seen with a direct link to Salman Pak.

I know we had been talking of doing a YOUTUBE video on all aspects. I am thinking of doing a video just of Salman Pak and I am saving Data.

If you do a google video search on Salman Pak traing Camp there are none. I am going to ask Futuref22pilot if he has time to help.

Thank You

We are not fighting the islamic terrorist on the battlefield but for sure we can fight them on the internet, that the least we can do to serve America in this time of war.

Essentially, Bill Clinton saved the WORLD!
