Bush is no rocket scientist by any stretch, but if there was ever a doubt why Kerry didn't get elected it is moments like this. Wow.

You nailed it! This phony bastard was back here after his arduous 4 month tour calling me a baby killer. I will never forgive him and I will never support his BS Iraq policy.

Apparently he forgot about the 2 million that died in the Killing Fields.

Actually, that was Cambodia, but plenty of Vietnamese either were killed, or had to submit to brutal "re-education" after America left.

In Kerry’s jetsetter world, the two million who died didn’t matter. (There’s nothing worse than a nouveau riche — and on TerAYsa’s dead husband’s money, to boot.)

Apparently he forgot about the 2 million that died in the Killing Fields.

Not to mention the South Vietnamese that suffered after the "transition".

During the 2004 campaign, I said that Kerry was truly the "RE-Education
Candidate", seeing how his approach landed so many FREE South
Vietnamese into re-education centers.

A few years back I saw a documentary on KCET (the PBS "superstation"
in Los Angeles). It centered around observations of a reporter from
The Los Angeles Times that had been based in South Vietnam during
the war...and later in the 1990s.

As much as I might generally despise the Viet Cong, he coverered the
personal story of some of them....
and how they'd gotten the shaft after the war was run when the
North Vietnamese said "thanks, we are now in charge of everything comrade!".

Idiots like Kerry caused an extra order of magnitude of suffering
for BOTH Vietnams.

John Ef'n Kerry in a Vietnam War Museum in Ho Chi Minh City

Photograph of John Kerry meeting with Comrade Do Muoi, General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam, in Vietnam. Photo displayed in the War Remnants Museum (formerly the “War Crimes Museum”) in Saigon. The June 2, 2003 edition of the “Viet Nam News” is held beside the Kerry photograph to confirm the date the photo was taken. English-language placard below the photograph reads: “Mr. Do Muoi, Secretary General of the Vietnam Communist Party met with Congressmen and Veterans Delegation in Vietnam (July 15-18, 1993).

John Kerry, circa 1974: “Cut and run. Our local allies won’t suffer.”
John Kerry, circa 2007: “Cut and run. Our local allies won’t suffer.”

And they say J F’n K is a flip flopper.

I chide my family about this all the time (They still live in MA) The response is alwayy s the same. He really cares about his constituents, if you send him a letter, you will get a response in short order. He also has the capacity to pull a long set of strings...So in other words he is proficient at being a pandering politician.
They just vote for Kerry because Massachusetts just loves a communist America hater.

During the pajama party his idiot Marxist buddy Harkin (pictured here with his good Komrades Kerry and Ortega) read from the same script about Vietnam - we tucked tail and ran but no bloodbath...blah, blah, blah. Traitorous jerks.

What's amazing is how close he came. It's a tribute to how weak Bush was within his own party.

We can thank the swift boat folk. When you consider the miniscule budget those people had at their disposal versus the Democrat Colossus plus the free advertising by the likes of Dan Rather...well...it's all pretty amazing.

I read on Snopes.com that it’s a false notion that Kerry’s medals weren’t won legally .... but from what I read, he got his PH’s from whining about his injuries and that it’s highly unlikely that someone could win the Bronze Star, Silver Star and three PH’s in four months of being in a combat zone ....

Nothing at all happened in Viet Nam.

By some accounts, Viet Nam was actually worse. But that's a pretty grim competition, unless you're a left-wing apologist.

In Vietnam itself there was not a “bloodbath” in any way comparable to what occured in Cambodia. There was persecution, starvation, and repression, and a lot of guys carted away to re-education camps, just as all who opposed the North Vietnamese said would happen, but nothing comparable to what Mao, Stalin, or Pol Pot did.

Everything is relative. Mao and Stalin killed far more people than were killed in the Holocaust by the Nazis, but that doesn't make the Holocaust any less significant. The Black Book of Communism, published by Harvard University Press in 1999, estimates that two million Cambodians and one million Vietnamese were slaughtered by the Communists in Indochina.

An estimated 528,000 were killed by the Vietnamese Communist government after 1975. This does not include the hundreds of thousands of “boat people” who drowned, died of starvation or thirst, or were murdered by pirates after fleeing Vietnam in desperation in over-crowded small boats in the hope they might somehow find their way to land and a chance at human freedom. Perhaps half-a-million “boat people” managed to make it safely to land. Estimates of those who died range from a few hundred thousand to half of those who fled. "Anyone who still denies that a “bloodbath” occurred after America abandoned the peoples of Indochina is either lying or totally out-of-touch with reality. To this tragic cost must be added the suffering of the many tens of millions who were consigned to Communist tyranny by our decision to abandon them."

In his 1971 testimony before Congress, Kerry seems to have taken several positions on the issue of recriminations, arguing at one point that perhaps 2,000 or 3,000 people “might face political assassination” when the Communists took over, but total recriminations “would be far, far less than the 200,000 a year who are murdered by the United States of America.” Kerry is a fool and a traitor.

He’s trying to rewrite history to give cover for the latest demoncrat surrender...

It must be hard to re-write history when there are so many of us out here who lived through it - and know better.
