Why would the U.S. “smear attack?” China is doing well-enough smearing its imports.

HMMM dear Chicoms...the LATEST slanders are from you neighbors in southeast asia who are sick (literally) and tired of your tainted food products that REALLY appeal to south asians and are heavily marketed to THEM...the folks here in the US buy name brand products and most here do not CONSUME your crap...except for our helpless animals...

Has China’s PLA leadership threatened to nuke us again, yet?

BTW, about 150,000 of China’s businesses are yet state-owned—well over half. As more of those businesses are privatized, China will make sure that they are owned by the Party faithful. Thus...moving toward fascism.

I am boycotting most everything at Walmart except my essential items like motor oil, I want quality goods not cheap throwaway items, and for the life of me for as long as I can remember I have yet to see anything from China lasting more than a year or two.

you know, walmart had some upscale womens clothing line that didnt sell last year, and they cancelled order...the WSJ reported how many factories shut down just because of that one action....it was tens of thousands of layoffs...and they just lock the doors and fire people until they find another buyer

i ran into a guy that is one of the quizlings working for chinese/us congrlamoraate

at any rate he said if the chicoms hit a snag in employment it will topple the regime due to riots

china has historically depended on the massive people revolts for changes

except now we know why their army as any other good totalitarian regime is fully functional to defend the fatherland from itself or to be pc for the skirts the motherland

LOL... Commies never understand the concept of a “free press.”

They can rant and rave all they want, issue all the warnings they want, but any media outlet is free to write whatever they want about and there is not a damn thing they or even the US can do about it.

Cry me a river!

I bought tires last week.

I told the guy I did not want tires from CHina 3 times.

Each time he assured me I was not purchasing tires from China.

He told me he has been hearing that a lot lately.

China and its junk can just eff off.

... Gen. Xiong, then second in command of the People’s Liberation Army, threatened to vaporize Los Angeles.

Not once during the entire 40-year Cold War between the U.S. and the U.S.S.R. did any Soviet general threaten to vaporize an American city...

The toothpaste is nothing.... wait till chinese cars start arriving

You may be aware of the glut of Chinese motorcycles/ATVs.

Many are copies of traditional Japanese designs, but with horribly inferior metallurgy and tolerances. They do have an allure on the showroom floor, however, but only once.

One or two American importers have forced their suppliers to improve quality, but not the rest. A seized crank bearing after a few hours or a cracked frame after the first jump are not cool, and the latter can be life-threatening.

No, I have not personally purchased any Chinese motor vehicles. Only Japanese and European, and those have been generally good quality.

Mr. Zhou Wenzhong
Embassy of the People’s Republic of China
2300 Connecticut Ave NW
Washington, DC 20008

Chinese Ambassador to the U.S.A.,

Go ahead and threaten America all you wish. Your threats will result in angering the average American to the point where they will refuse to buy any product that originates from China.

Continue with these threats and I will gather hundreds of independant truck owner/operators to block US port roadways. This will result in your ships remaining tied to the docks or sailing away with the cargo remaining on board.

With just a few of my friends, we will be able to shut down an entire coastline of ports. The American independant truck owner/operator is proudly American, not pro Chinese. Parking the truck for two, three, four or five days in return for a daily cash payment is actually a good business deal for the trucker. Have your staff check out the numbers.

Mr.Ambassador, if you don’t believe that I will do this, try me.

He means it mr. Wnezhong.

Wnezhong say, " American crazy!"

LOL!

Just keep pushing and you might just find out how crazy we are.

This guy reminds me of some of my relatives. They act like jack asses and then get all bent out of shape and threaten you when you disapprove.

Just because something has an “Asian” name doesn’t mean it’s Chinese.

I had written:
"Has China’s PLA leadership threatened to nuke us again, yet?"

You asked:
"They’ve threatened to nuke us? Are you serious?"

Lt. Gen. Xiong Guangkai, deputy chief of the general staff of the People's Liberation Army threatened a nuclear strike against the USA in 1996. Maj. Gen. Zhu Chenghu of the Chinese People's Liberation Army made the same kind of threat against us in 2005.

This is hilarious. It’s like watching a schizophrenic argue with himself.

Half the articles from this hellhole say China is doing everything it can to ensure the safety of its products, and the other half whine about “slander” concerning China’s products.

Huh?
