Yes, everything they use is the real thing.
I checked their site. On their info page for Cordyceps, they don’t actually come out and state where they are getting it from. They imply that its a “pharmaceutically pure cordyceps that is identical to the wild variety”. In other words, its grown in a lab.
I’m highly skeptical. I’d like to see PubMed references proving its efficacy. I can dig up a couple of studies showing a domesticated lab-grown variant to be worthless.
I was up on the state of things a couple of years ago; maybe matters have changed. Have the pharmacologically active compounds been isolated yet? There are a couple of candidates, but I have yet to see verification. Until we know for sure, its best to get the real stuff from overseas.
Tibetans have lived there for thousands of years. It was annexed to China in the last century or so.
Its called CORDYCEPS and can truly increase stamina and overall good health. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cordyceps
if the fungus could bring Tibetans back from the dead, we’d have a “Night of the Living Tibetans” scenario here. that would be cool.
My brother owns some stock in a company that makes the stuff and he tells me that the newest big buyer for cordyceps are beef growers. Seems that it works better than steroids. I can personally attest to its effects regarding stamina and energy levels.
May I ask where you buy yours?
"FUNGUS FIGHT!"
I can see this. The same sort of thing happens around here over morel mushroom patches. The battles are a lot smaller, however.
