Just for your information, I tried accessing the Castleberry’s website and it would not load. I tried sending them a notice to inform them of that fact, and I don’t believe that my message was accepted, either. Castleberry’s is not trying very hard to correct the problem in my estimation, and if there are any trial lawyers looking at this, it may be fruitful to examine the adequacy of the company’s notification procedures. I also object to the use of a multitude of brand names, which complicates recall procedures geometrically. I know this is the way of business today, but it means that (unlike Tylenol) companies with fly-by-night brand names have less of an incentive to protect their good will.

I buy Wolf Brand Chili. Something strange going on, some ingredient for those items is coming from a common source.

Their beef chili tasted great - but they have not been stocking it for about 6 months

The chicken chili was OK

The beef stew was great

I’ll watch for “STAGG” on the FDA lists

Big chunks o’ tasty steak chili - excellent for quick microwaving

Much better than Hormel and others

I’m really careful about cooking long enough - not just heatin foods

Y'know ... NONE of these products sound like a natural balance wild dogs would run across in nature. CHINESE TAKE OUT!!?? HOBO CHILI!!?? I don't know what fields and meadows and wide open spaces THEIR doggies are runnin' in, but I ain't seen any with Moo Goo Gai Pan in it yet! (Curiouser and Curiouser, to cop a phrase from the world of the looking glass girl).
