So, which judge last slapped them on the wrist and sent them back out onto the streets?

If they let them off the hook for their prior crimes, how do we know they’ll do anything about these crimes?

Too bad the police didn’t shoot those two pukes trying to escape and save the state some money. It is a public disgrace they were not in prison at the time this happened. Both of them have criminal histories that, in a different state, would have had them in prison under the three times you’re out rule.

Well, their criminal histories should be put to an end, quickly and at the end of a rope. This sounds like a reprise of In Cold Blood.

I believe they do but New England states with the DP are notorious for not using it these days.I think I read once that there hasn't been an execution in a New England state since the 50's.

For crimes like this, the prosecution should have an option of "expedited execution" upon conviction by a jury. If a three-judge panel rules that the evidence indicates clear guilt, the appeals process should be limited to a single, expedited, one-year phase.

Having animals like the ones who murdered these people executed within 18 months of their vicious deeds would bring justice to the perpetrators, a sense of closure to the victim's families, and save the taxpayer hundreds of thousands or even millions of dollars, when incarceration and legal costs are factored in.

Hmmm, what took the police so long getting to the house? The mother somehow informed the bank teller something was wrong so wouldn’t it take some time to drive back to the house and do whatever other horrific deed and then set the house on fire? One would have hoped the teller had called the police immediately and the house would have been surrounded by the time the mother got back. I know most banks have a direct line to the police.

That is the general rule, but Connecticut did execute a serial-killer of coeds a little over a year ago, the first such since 1962, and hopefully not the last.

CT executed a serial killer about a year or so ago. took them 20 years to do it, and he wanted it. there are several people on death row, but don’t pull out the marshmallows. not in CT.

it is lberal policies, like those in CT that breed such monsters.

I’m for redefining what is now considered “cruel and unusual punishment”.

For many years, we had physical penalties in the United States that were perfectly fine to have rendered onto criminals for heinous crimes.

I say bring them all back. Let the perpetrator experience what he did to others three-fold or more.

You are right sadly. I figured the MSM weren’t releasing the names at first because the killers were Hispanic. They were not. I was mistaken. These two criminal animals should be swiftly executed.

Another assumption I may end up wrong on but think less likely to be wrong on, is that the family died because they didn’t have guns in their home for protection and/or the will to use them, which would be tragic and a lesson to us all.

Shall not be named

Komisarjevsky is a good guy what he did was wrong...but he really is a kind father and a great friend....The judge is an idiot.....When he was 14 he did rob house to get cash for a drug habit of his. Don't call someone a cold predator if you dont know them. He doesnt even understand. Law enforcement doesnt understand peoples feelings they look down on every they see as a pitful **** to society. Josh would probally nto have done this if he did suffer with depression and the loss of his girlfriend who moved down south. SCREW THE POLICE....They're all corrupt jerks

Shall not be named
Cheshire, CT

Komisarjevsky is not a monster , You sir are jsut liek everyone else in society....Judging him on this action....he's a rough kid with some issues and should be treated.. LEarn who this person actually is rather that judging him on this one action.

Shall not be named
Cheshire, CT

The best we can hope for is all you **** a horrible death you sit here complainign about humanity when look at you judging someone not even knowing there true person. Komisarjevsky would never kill anyone, I know for a fact, it was mostlikely Steve, he's the one who is the creep.

And everyone should have some means of defending themselves and their families. The police can’t be everywhere.

That's a fairly recent case, isn't it? If so,he's still got 25 years worth of appeals ahead of him and by that time NH will be so blue that they'll probably release him with an apology and a $5 million check for having been so badly abused.

Very, very sad that this family wasn’t well-armed. Three intelligent adults and an adolescent would have been awfully hard for the two thugs to subdue, if all members of the family knew the easily accessible location of a loaded a gun and knew how to use it.

He may escape the needle, but he will certainly be up for life with no parole.

Case was in late 2006, I think November— he’s a long-time offender and shot a NH bicycle cop in cold blood. No politician dares defend the thug, not even our spineless Governor Lynch.

Agree 101%. I re-read the article, and it seems the skells weren’t armed either - I assume the article would have mentioned it if they were armed.

So, at least the liberals can’t shamelessly use this case of mass murder as an argument for gun control like they did after the Va-Tech mass murder.

Suspect nabbed in 3 burglaries

New Haven Register 05/21/2002

CHESHIRE — Police arrested a man Monday in connection with three house burglaries that took place last summer.

Joshua Komisarjevsky, 21, of 840 N. Brooksvale Road, was charged with two counts of second-degree burglary, third-degree burglary, two counts of sixth-degree larceny from a building and third-degree larceny from a building, police said.

The break-ins allegedly occurred on Lanyon Drive, Stratton Drive and North Timber Lane.

After reading the comments section, one thing mentioned a few times is very true:

Any trial must be in Waterbury. Since capital punishment came back, they've placed more criminals on death row than any other judicial district in the State.

Of course, they'd actually have to add first-degere murder as a charge first. I'm sure they are waiting for the autopsy report before doing this.

Whenever there is a crime committed by a criminal with a gun, the libs come out screeching for more restrictions.

Maybe conservatives should not take the high road this time, and push for loosening restrictions in CT. Propose a “Castle Law” too, and no retreat.

Law abiding citizens should be able to gun down animals like this when they break in.

Gun laws, too. If this guy owned a gun, there would have been no crime, and he'd still have his wife and 2 daughters. People should own guns for the same reason they keep fire extinguishers in the house. I call them crime extinguishers.

Corrections officials said in a statement that both suspects "were deemed to be appropriate candidates for supervised parole in the community based on their criminal history, which involved the minimum level of violence." Both suspects were on a weekly reporting schedule with their parole officers "and had been in full compliance with the requirements of their release, including being employed on a fulltime basis."

Please note that the history of each of these subhumans involved "the minimum level of violence." A few years ago the California libs were caterwauling over the sad fate of "non-violent" multiple felons who were in the can for the rest of their lives due to "three strikes and you're out." This case proves that every three strikes felon simply deserves to be shut up forever, period.

Another interesting point: The lone survivor, Dr. William A Petit Jr., may have confronted the burglars before he was badly beaten with a baseball bat, tied up and left in the basement.

How many here want to bet he didn't confront them with a loaded gun, especially because he was beaten with a baseball bat? If you're smart, you'll always do as I do, keep a loaded gun readily available to deal with subhumans like this. If he'd done that, the headline would probably be: "Prominent Local MD Confronts, Kills Home Invaders."
