After standing with the D.C. Chapter at Arlington National Cemetery Monday morning to protest Cindy Sheehan's campaign rally there, two women whose husbands were killed serving in Iraq confronted Sheehan and her supporters outside Rep. John Conyers' office on Capitol Hill several hours later.
The two Gold Star wives stood in the hallway right outside the door to Conyers' office to rebuke Sheehan for betraying the sacrifices made by their husbands. Sheehan blew them off, raising and extending her right hand to ward them off as she approached the office and the assembled media horde. Sheehan's posse quickly surrounded the wives, led by turncoat Ann Wright, a retired Army Reserve colonel and former State Dept. official. While Wright tried to distract the wives by "dialoguing" with them, Code Pink's Medea Benjamin tried to drown them out and divert the media's attention by leading the Cindynistas in sing-song chanting. One of Sheehan's supporters told the wives to "shut up!"
The wives would not be deterred and stood their ground. They barely let Wright get a word in edgewise as they said their piece. Of course these women did not make the news, despite all the cameras that were filming. With the exceptions of scant mentions in the Washington Post and ABC News radio, the pro-victory Gold Star wives were deemed not newsorthy.
Even Fox News, the so-called 'fair and balanced' network, which had producer Griff Jenkins covering the story, blew off any mention of the Gold Star wives in their report on Brit Hume's Special Report broadcast last night.
The fourteen minute long video, filmed by Blue Star mother Mrs. Trooprally, who has a son serving in Iraq, captures the scene in the hallway as the Gold Star wives were repeatedly denied permission to go into Conyers' office while Sheehan was in there, even as the media and Sheehan supporters were routinely allowed in.
The video ends before Conyers' arrival and Sheehan's arrest at his office later that afternoon.
After leaving Capitol Hill, the Gold Star wives returned to Arlington National Cemetery to visit the grave where the husband of one of the wives is buried.
The anti-American left is relentless in their drive to force the defeat of America in the war on terror. They have the momentum, they have the Congress. The only thing standing in their way is President Bush. If you who support victory do not get active, we will lose this war.
Because of the failure of those who support victory to get involved on the homefront, Iraq veterans and Gold Star wives are having to walk point to defend the sacrifices they and their loved ones have made.
The next two months, August and September, will decide whether we win or lose the war. Our troops in Iraq are making extraordinary progress. They are doing their part. When will you do yours?
The MSM are not going to cover any other point of view. Their job, as whores and shills for the DNC, are to do whatever is necessary to encourage an American loss is this war.

This isn’t about Cindy Sheehan defeating Nancy Pelosi, nor about them having a debate in October 2008 that we can all crack open a beverage and eat popcorn while we watch the spectacle on TV. This is about ratcheting up the political pressure on the homefront now and in the upcoming months to bring about our defeat in the war on terror.
Neil Cavuto regularly has pro-victory Gold Star parents on his show to give them the chance for their voices to be heard that the rest of Fox and the media gives only to Cindy Sheehan.
It took a lot of courage. Both of them are raising young children from their marriages to their hero husbands.

They say that “if it bleeds, it leads”. Maybe it’s time for patriots to draw a little blood from America’s traitors. Figuratively speaking of course. What do the traitors do to get attention? They act like undisciplined children. How about if the patriots get a little rowdy in confronting Congress, as well as in our confrontations with traitors. Maybe we need to make a louder noise. We’ve been too “nice” and that is why nobody notices. I know we were all raised to be polite and it goes against our nature to act like idiots, but this may be the time for us to learn. Two women whose husbands were killed in action in Iraq felt the need to travel great distances to stand up and speak out yesterday, at Arlington Cemetery and Capitol Hill, in defense of their husbands and their mission.
Why did two war widows have to do this? Why did they feel that they had to confront, practically alone, the radical leftists who call their husbands and other soldiers murderers and torturers?
Haven't these women given enough to our country and the war on terror, that they shouldn't also be forced to stand up for their husbands' honor?
What in the He!! is going on in the White House, that you guys are not out front-and-center defending these heroes and the mission that you want us all to support?
Our soldiers are winning the war, and are winning the trust of the Iraqi people. But the White House is not being aggressive enough in getting this message out to the general public. You all are losing the media war. You want us to trust you. Great! You want us to support this mission. Marvelous! Well, by God, you all better get your act together and start pushing your message harder and louder.
Look at this video. Watch these two women, holding onto one another, getting strength from each other, doing what you should be doing. They may not say it, but they darn sure know that you all do not have their backs. That's why they are forced to do something that they should not have to do.
These ladies kicked ass yesterday, but they should not have had to. That's your job.
Do you feel even the slightest bit of shame that you are allowing people who have already shouldered most of the burden of this war and suffered immeasurable loss, to do what you should be doing.
The White House spokesheads should be publicly, loudly and repeatedly calling the traitors (Code Pink, World Can't Wait, International ANSWER, United for Peace and Justice, etc.) exactly that. Tell everyone who will listen about the anti-America roots of these "peace groups."
Do not hesitate to say, "Yes! I am questioning the patriotism of these people and these groups' leaders; and here's why." And then you make the case. If I and other Freepers, with our very limited resources, can find evidence and proof of their ties to our enemies, the US government can make an even more forceful case.
The MSM is not going to do it for you. Act like you have a pair, for criminy sake!

We (the collective ‘we’) showed our passion against that bill; can we not harness this same energy toward VICTORY?
