They ought to be deliriously happy that he a) lasted as long as he did despite no doctorate, no real credentials and no real scholarship and b) was given a year’s salary despite being fired for very just cause.
I did’t watch it because, I already know how this kind conducts itself. They attach themselves to a phony like Churchill and when he is exposed for what he is, they all have a pity party. This is part of their redemption and every one should see it.

Agreed. Other than a couple of yelled "Bull Sh..", there was nothing to it. While Churchill has vowed to fight his dismissal, trust me, he doesn't have a chance. The UofC would not have taken this action if they didn't have hard evidence to support their claim of plagiarism, false research, and other evidence of misconduct. He is professional toast.

I for one did not take this protest seriously since it did not contain the diversity that we here and especially on college campi are supposed to worship.
I saw his lawyer on Fox last night (O’Reilly? H&C???) and the lawyer was a mouthy, puny, smarmy, sarcastic little @$$. Absolutely a caricature of a liberal. Thoroughly unprofessional!

I saw that as well, and the characteristic I saw in him is "slimy weasel" with his ringing threats to protect his client's freedom of speech.
I know that all lawyers recognize that the First Amendment protects citizens from prosecution for what is said, not social or professional ramifications thereof. This guy is fully aware of this, but here's a chance for national exposure, the holy grail of attorneys.

Reminds me of the 2000 Freep in KC where there were 2, yes TWO, Algore supporters, and a hundred freepers, and the media chose to interview the two, purposely turning the cameras away from the throng of freepers. Fortunately, we saw what was going on and surrounded them.
