'Old Blood and Guts' Reappears in a New YouTube Role Wednesday, July 25, 2007
Maybe the White House should roll out "Old Blood and Guts" the next time it tries to explain why the U.S. is fighting in Iraq.
A video posted on YouTube features the well-known scene from the movie "Patton," with George C. Scott standing in front of an enormous American flag.
This time, however, the famous World War II general isn't urging his troops to defeat the Nazis on the eve of the Allied invasion of France this version features the voice of comedian Mike Kaminski delivering a Patton-like explanation of why the U.S. is fighting in Iraq, Afghanistan, against Al Qaeda, and the danger posed by an Iran possessing nuclear weapons.

This is a good effort.
But I did not know that George C. Scott was such a good ventriloquist. Who knew?

Wonder where ol’ blood and guts is now. He was a strong believer in reincarnation.
A pint of sweat spares a gallon of blood
George S. Patton
When you do something, you always gad critics from three sorts of people :
1)those who do the same
2)those who do the opposite
3) and especially those who do nothing
George S. Patton
The goal of war is not to die for his country but to let the bastard on the other side die for its own.
George S. Patton
There is moments it is better to hear his fear, and moments it is better to ignore it.
George S. Patton
Bravo!
Maybe the White House should roll out "Old Blood and Guts" the next time it tries to explain why the U.S. is fighting in Iraq.Oh yeah. That's going to happen. But wait, are those pigs flying by my office window?
No, you can forget about it. When it comes to taking on the Treason Lobby in the United States, this White House never misses an opportunity to miss an opportunity.
You definitely will not see the White House or the RNC promoting, or even mentioning, this video. They care far too much about the tender feelings of the traitors in our midst.
The video is already on Frontpagemag...
On the... front page...
Bush will learn from it soon.
Patton was the last of his kind. A pure warrior who believed in honor and duty. Most generals are, to some degree, politicians, but in WW2 against an enemy as strong as the Nazis, nothing less than a true warrior would’ve been sufficient.
Superbly done, a great mixture of humor and cold, hard facts. Love the disclaimeer, any similarity to....strictly intentional. LOL!
My wife’s grandfather fought w/ Patton in Europe. Grandpa got a big medal when he “captured” a bunch of German troops — he was sleeping in his tank, heard German voices, and called for help, and the responding troops captured the Germans.
OMG I saw it on YOU TUBE LOL!
Patton: “Americans hate a looser.”
Bush will learn from it soon.Bush will never learn. He does a few things right, and many things wrong. But he never, ever learns. I do believe that the left is partially right about the intellectual powers of our President. They are totally wrong about his morality. I think he's a basically good guy. But after 7 years of hearing how he's a poker player, blah, blah, blah... and then to be in the position he's in now, with a winning hand (fighting a war against the TERRORISTS) and then losing the pot (being successfully branded as a loser pushing a "bumper sticker war") proves to me that he just doesn't have what it takes to fight the REAL war, the war against the traitors here at home.
Be that as it may, the fact that this video is on Frontpage is a very good thing. Republican hopefuls, running for House, Senate, WH and other offices, will ignore this video AT THEIR PERIL.
