Shrill? I was stating an opinion, as you did in your post. I wasn’t assuming anything about you.

Who said I was a Thompson groupie? Or apologist? When did I say I supported Thompson? My concern is the division in the GOP. Such post as yours, when assuming something about another without provocation, is nothing more than a shrill tactic to attack another. Hmmm reminds me of ‘Debbie Schlussel’....
I listened to Hannity today while Thompson was discussing the attacks on him.... I for one now understand exactly what he was talking about....you can take the torch the Libs are handing you guys ....and run with it but I’ll stay grounded and not attack other Republican candidates. I’ll eventually choose the one that best goes along with my Ideological beliefs and then throw my money and support their way.
Thanks

Then you should know all about it.

WOW you read like the lefties when going to their sites to see what they are saying for the day ..... as for hate...you can have the hate...I’ll stick with the facts....on the WHOLE issue....
When one is eaten alive with hate and is too far to the left or the right then I remove myself from their presence and influence. Conservatism is a great political barometer...not too far to the right and far away from the left.... anything past Conservatism to the right is something I refuse to get near.
The best candidate will get my money and my support. As for attacking any other Republican because I don’t want them to win.... I refuse to fall into the trap you guys have been lead into.
Thanks

I dont know how you can be considered a conservative if you support abortion, gay rights, gun control, sanctuary cities and amnesty, etc. Theres no way a conservative can excuse or defend much less support that load of liberal crap. Jim I don't support Rudy. I didn't know that Debbie is a Rudy supporter.
I do agree with her that Fred's choice for campaign manager is disappointing.

As long as he knocks RudyMcRomney out of the race I'll be fine. All
conservative boats will rise.

i knew that already dang it...
meanwhile, old farts like me will continue to believe that much like killin, some things deserve hating.

More stuff on Fred Thompson's choice of Spencer Abraham as his campaign manager. Debbie Schlussel has come out against Thompson. Read the background on why - its disturbing.I am sorry he has done this.
Looks like Duncan Hunter is our only hope!

For example, poster in #130, nodems, has been a FReeper for low nearly five years. His personal profile states clearly he is a Ronald Reagan Republican. Is HE a "DU-er"? How about me? I in fact worked directly for Ronald Reagan for some time. I do wonder, am I a "DU-er"? I've been hear for nine years myself. Can you give us some examples?
If some of these people ever had an original thought, their head would explode. The DU'ers are patently obvious and it's one of those tired worn out phrases, way over done. Blackbird.

Well, thank you...even though I recognize the sarcasm dripping at a phenomenal rate.
Needless to say, hate is an emotion that is ‘unproductive.’

If youre going to enter a conversation Im having with someone else, especially concerning a different point...dont do it. My points are entirely meant for that person, and not yourself...not to be twisted into presumption of anything.
Ever heard of the term "Open Forum"? OOOPs, maybe I wasn't supposed to address you. pfffft. Blackbird.

It’s not a matter of addressing, but spinning. I don’t like people taking my point and making presumptions out of it. Did you understand that (when you read that)? If not, you do now.

"Then he swoops in, expecting to shove all those who have been working hard on campaigning aside. Just doesnt set well with me."I dare say Thompson did not just "swoop in". This is a well thought out political tactic. The same one Newt is engaging. Bloomberg has a different tactic. Those avoiding the Iowa caucus have another.
I wouldn't dismiss a frontrunner because of his successful political acumen.
