Democrats' Payback Time (George W. Bush they consider an illegitimate President)

Mid-term elections 13 days earlier had been disastrous for Republicans, but Sara Taylor on Nov. 20, 2006, gushed in her thank you message to the Office of National Drug Control Policy. The 32-year-old White House political director praised drug czar John Walters and his deputies for attending 20 campaign events for vulnerable Republican members of Congress. On Friday this week, Taylor as a private citizen will testify under oath about the propriety of this political activity.

Since she resigned her White House post in May, Taylor has been the target of Democratic committee chairmen. On July 11, she stumbled through interrogation by Chairman Patrick Leahy's Senate Judiciary Committee about political motives in dismissing U.S. attorneys. She had hardly recovered from that ordeal when she received a July 17 letter from House Oversight Committee Chairman Henry Waxman requesting "voluntary" testimony on "politicization" of the Drug Control Office. Under an agreement negotiated by her attorney, Taylor will be deposed Friday in preparation for open testimony, perhaps next Monday.

Taylor has been the most obvious target of a grand inquisition, but she is small game. The Democrats are after her former boss, senior presidential adviser Karl Rove, and beyond him, George W. Bush, whom they consider an illegitimate president. At a staff level, it is simply payback time for Democrats who remember Rep. Dan Burton, who in chairing the committee Waxman now heads sought e-mails revealing illegal foreign political contributions.

Waxman intends to question Taylor about a post-election meeting presided over by Rove described in a Nov. 21 e-mail to Walters and his deputies from Douglas Simon, the drug office's liaison with the White House. Simon wrote that Rove "specifically thanked, for going beyond the call of duty, the Dept. of Commerce, Transportation, Agriculture AND the WH Drug Policy Office.

Yes, keep repeating the election of Y2K. That’s the best way the Dems have of blowing what should be a 5-10% victory in 2K8.

Somebody nees to have a plan for splitting the United States up. I don’t see any other sort of a happy ending here any more.

Rats needed a majority which would have been the illegals, didn’t happen. Plan B - attack talk radio and the new media to control information available to the public -fairness doctrine.

If it wasn’t for Hatred the Rats wouldn’t have anything to run on.

Pray for W and Our Troops

There is no hope for human government. See Isaiah 9:6. I’m not suggesting that we should just give up or not care. As a Christian, I feel obligated to do my part and stay engaged in our governmental/election processes. Until we put Jesus and His Father at the center of every facet of our lives (including our government), we are spinning our wheels.

Remember how they screamed about $50 million spending for Whitewater, where there was a crime?? Talk about a waste of time and money!

What should be noted is, if there was anything truly glaring in terms of evidence of wrong-doing, it would be a slam-dunk to get a special prosecutor. but all the Dems are doing right now is holding a fishing expedition. They're asking for "voluntary"testimonies from low-level underlings, in hopes they can fabricate something--anything--against the higher-ups.

What's telling is, for as much as they despise people like Cheney and Rove, they have nothing solid to pin on them, other then flailing allegations.

I suppose. I guess I just want to hear an all out rude crude unending chorus of “go f*** yourself, henry” to any and all inquiries.

What is funny is that nostrils’ investigation the “politicization” of the Drug Control Office is itself a politicization of his own office.

Congress approval less than 50% of W’s, though the MSM continue to spew W least approval of modern Presidents.

The slime from the DRats is starting to consume them.

"If it wasn’t for Hatred the Rats wouldn’t have anything to run on."

"..According to Webster's, envy is defined as "malice," and a "painful or resentful awareness of an advantage enjoyed by another, joined with a desire to possess the same advantage." The psychoanalytic understanding of envy is that it is an unconscious fantasy aimed at attacking, damaging, or destroying what is good, because of the intolerable feeling that one does not possess and control the object of goodness. As such, it is an aspect of what Freud called the death instinct, since it ultimately involves a destructive attack on the sources of life and goodness. ...

..If we could somehow eliminate envy from the human genome, there would be almost no reason for the left to exist. They would instantly lose that which animates them, for example, envy masquerading as justice or economic theory. .."

... envy is ubiquitous in primitive groups, and in fact, is the very thing that keeps them primitive and undeveloped. In order to advance into capitalism, human beings had to get past the “envy barrier” and tolerate the idea that some people will have more than others. In primitive groups, envy is so pervasive that no one is allowed to have more than anyone else--they are trapped in a "zero sum" theory of economics, just as are many liberals today. To naive leftists, a primitive culture may look like an egalitarian paradise, but it is actually a paranoid and envious hell, with everyone fearful of the “evil eye” of his envious neighbor should he acquire more than him. For this reason, primitive groups mindlessly destroy surpluses or engage in sacrifices to their “envious” gods. ...

..I’ll be right back. I’m going to go over to Huffing&pissed right now and prove to you what I mean.....

Okay, I’m back. Here are some comments, plucked at random. ..." [snip]

“300 plus investigations and counting. Can someone please tell me why they are not like the Gestapo?”

Lefties nervous (and bored) about having to listen to the Clinton dirty laundry list for the next year better realize that the Dem Congress constant and fruitless investigations will be added to that list. I had to laugh when Mort Kondrake mentioned Republican’s obstructionism the other day. The true obstructionism has been the obsessive politics of payback by the Dems, especially the Clintonistas, but all of them from the top down to low level kossacks.

It will come back to bite them.

That was excellent. Thanks for the replay. Envy is the hole for the missing screw the left has and those who use it to control others have been historically the most evil and narcissistic individuals.

“Until we put Jesus and His Father at the center of every facet of our lives (including our government), we are spinning our wheels.”

Amen.

But the dims next step is to put “the beast” (lower case “b” for now) in charge.

God is the only one who can help us if that happens.

Thanks, buck. I expect the chastisement. The Bible says that those who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution. Not my favorite biblical promise, but there it is anyway. Of course, the Bible also says that we are to rejoice when we’re counted worthy to suffer persecution for His Name’s sake. That’s pretty cool! Thanks for your post.

They haven't shot anyone yet... but they'd like to

Once they get enough power they will use other means. They will be able to mark those that they consider politically incorrect to be unpersons. Unpersons will not be able to get decent jobs, credit, buy property or get proper medical care. The shooting and gassing comes later.
