“All I could figure is that this conspiracy includes the idea that Da Vinci knew about the secrets alleged by the theorists to be true.”

Not to worry folks, King Jesus will be returning when He is least expected, and we’ll get it all settled then. ;

PS - Don’t Leave Earth Without Him.

“I noticed a strange effect, like a shadow, when I was looking through a magazine with a reproduction of The Last Supper,” the 36-year-old explained.

“So I scanned the painting and printed it onto a transparent sheet, which I then laid over the original image.

I don't understand why this genius had to scan the image. It's already been done and available within seconds via a Google image search. One good sized image here:

The Last Supper

“The book argues Mary Magdalene was misrepresented in male-dominated Christian history because she allegedly led the Apostles and started Jesus’s blood line: supposedly the real ‘Holy Grail’ (in French, ’sang real’ or royal blood).”

The argument that early Christianity was “male dominated” is false. Given the context of the time and place, Christianity represented radical liberation for women. My favorite example is the story of Mary and Martha. Martha is cranky that Mary is sitting and listening to Jesus preach. Jesus tells Martha that Mary has chosen the better part and “it will not be taken away from her.” This when Jewish women (and for hundreds of years after) were not allowed to study the Torah. Paul mentions several women as leaders in the Church. Mary, the mother of Jesus and the early female saints are other examples of strong women. These women were scrubbed from the traditions during the Reformation but certainly served me as role models growing up in Parochial schools.

Sorry, meant to say that the story about Mary and Martha was Luke 10. :-)

Leonardo was NOT at the last supper and no matter what he created, it’s just his imagination. Anyone who reviews it is also using their imagination. The point is that it is enduring art. The tribute remains to the great artist who created it.

The Last Supper is, I believe, a painting by an Italian artist. It is not sent to us from God. See whatever you want in it - give it your best shot. Slow news day?

“Here’s another example of a famous painting rife with masonic/templar symbolism:”

Never trust a collie, I say. I’ve heard too many stories about Lassie actually being a transvestite, pretending to be a girl.

I did not know the Last Supper was painted on a WALL! I thought it was painted on canvas or whatever medium that was popular at the time. We should be lucky there is ANY of it left.

I do autocad. I leave secret messages which appear only as a dot on the final product....unsually something to do with what is occuring, like the day the Gulf War began...because my bro was going to be going to be on a supply ship in the region.

I'd think every artist has their own private "dot" in every drawing just because it's so easy. It may be as simple as sandels like the artist wore or a cup that he possesses so the speculating may be endless.

Probably just the image from the back side of the page in the magazine.

“Any sign of Waldo?”

How about Looter Guy or Traveler Guy?

Leonardo his a lot of stuff in his paintings - not shocking something might be there that we only find now.

Why are you so dismissive without seeing it?
