Jihad Spence: Fred Thompson's Pan-Islamist Campaign Manager
DebbieSchlussel.com ^ | July 25, 2007 | Debbie Schlussel

Posted on 07/26/2007 11:00:53 AM PDT by The 9 11 Generation

As a Senator, he took marching orders from James Zogby of the pan-Islamist Arab American Institute, opposing profiling of Arabs, the use of secret evidence against Muslims (at the behest of Muslim groups), attempting to repeal the Clinton counterterrorism package, refusing to fund computer tracking of student and other foreign aliens, giving millions in our tax money right to Hezbollah, and putting CAIR on the map on Capitol Hill (taking the group's officials around to meet other Senators and Members of Congress). He took campaign contributions from the relatives of Hezbollah-backed top Lebanese officials after he got the group millions in our tax money.

Spence was one of only two Senators in the entire U.S. Senate who refused to sign a letter calling on President Clinton to condemn Palestinian terrorism and Yasser Arafat. This was at the height of a series of homicide bombings in Israel in 1999 and 2000.

As Energy Secretary, he gave top secret tours of nuclear facilities, as well as detailed information on how we secure them to Muslim nations who are our enemies. And he gave out undue post-9/11 awards to Al-Qaeda money-launderers . . . at the White House. The money launderers were raided by U.S. Customs Service agents.

After he left the Bush cabinet, Spence became a lobbyist for Mid-Eastern Muslim countries that practice the Arab boycott of Israel and don't really like us too much either. He took their money and until the Thompson race, did their bidding...

Then I would urge you to find out more imformation about the Christians in Palestine. For example Arafat married an Eastern Orthodox Christian woman (converted to Islam so she could get her hands on his money.)

Could you clarify exactly what this should teach us about Christians in Palestine?

My mistake.

I meant to disparage those who attacked his heritage.

Maybe I’m slow, but I thought it was Fred Thompson who is interested in running for President.

What’s Spence Abraham running for?

Nothing?

Oh, right. Then this is nothing more than an attempted drive-by guilt by association. Debbie Schlussel should be ashamed of herself.

Michigan may be a very important early primary state.

Certainly. They usually kiss Muslim butt.

Stupid move on Thompson’s part. If he’s not onto the Lebanese by now, he ain’t no promising candidate for president. This is nearly as good as Mrs. Clinton’s live-in a-rab lady. NEXT!

An a-rab is NEVER a good choice. Especially now.

"Kind of hard for Arab Christian to back radical Muslims if you ask me."

No, not really. Don't let the "Christian" tag fool you. There is a bond of ancestral kinship which overrides Christian doctrine/ sensibilities in that part of the world.

Exactly. Even despite persecution of Arab Christians in "Palestinian"(no such a thing) territory, The will side with Palestinian nut cases. It may be for self preservation, but you just can't know for sure the political aspects, palm greasing, corruption etc. going on. Fred would be much better off far removed from anyone and anything involved.

It disturbs me that Thompson has shown such poor judgment. Or perhaps he picked the man he wanted. That is even worse. I smell a GWB clone. Do conservatives reallyl want to go through this again?

Expect more HIT PIECES on the Thompson campaign.

It's not a hit piece, it's just genuine head-scratching here. Many conservatives saw Fred, via his YouTube videos and blogs, as someone who's going to shakeup the establishment and usher in new faces. That's what I wanted Fred to do. Start nurturing unknown conservatives rather than picking a GOP flunky who got beat by Debbie Stabenow.

He is not a problem, I would rather he not be part of the campaign (Its odd to me why he was chosen, personal relationship?), but this article is just a hit piece in disguise.

Rush had on his show either yesterday or today about how this Abraham guy was able to deliver a lot of Republican votes somewhere, I forget where but I think a Democrat stronghold so that's probably why. A caller called in upset about Abraham's stand on illegal invasion, which is what prompted Rush's response. But it doesn't seem to have been important enough to come up in a search easily.

Michigan.

I don't think that state is going to turn though anytime soon.

It was something like he was able to deliver a lot of Republican votes in traditionally Democrat districts. I don’t think it is about winning Michigan but about delivering votes.

This is a terrible choice for Fred Thompson, and if it hurts him, well, it was his bad choice.

You have that right. Open borders Spencer Abraham is the original border quisling. If there's anyone in the GOP who has been worse than Dubya on immigration, it's Spencer Abraham.

That’s not the only ‘award’ Spencer Abraham has received.

La Raza honored him for advancing their agenda:

I am a Hunter supporter first but really like Fred and his straight talking manner.

I saw Fred on Hanity and Lefty tonight and he is impressive in his responses to questions.

I especially like his answer on ragging the other Republican candidates.

I like it also that he took on the Democrat candidates with some really harsh criticism.

Spencer dosen’t bother me so much because I have watched Fred and listened for a long time and Fred is a solid patriot and supporter of this country.

He certainly is playing to the base even though some of his staff leave something to be desired.

But then again if the aids were more acceptable they might be candidates also.
