“I would expect that some people who had given to Romney may in the end be for McCain,” said DeWine, now with the law firm of Keating Muething & Klekamp in Cincinnati. “I think he has a solid conservative record in Congress. He has been right on on business issues.”

DeWine said he expects business executives to pony up for McCain.
