More from Drudge:
“ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) - Agents from the FBI and Internal Revenue Service on Monday searched the home of U.S. Sen. Ted Stevens, an official said.
Investigators arrived at the Republican senator’s home in Girdwood shortly before 2:30 p.m. Alaska time, said Dave Heller, FBI assistant special agent.
Heller said he could not comment on the nature of the investigation.
The Justice Department has been looking into the seven-term senator’s relationship with a wealthy contractor as part of a public corruption investigation.”

The ENTIRE party, not just the Rinos, ala Mark Foley, will pay for this. Right now I don’t know who I’m angrier with - it’s the last thing this party needs, meanwhile the other choice is nauseating and just as corrupt!

.....so okay....I demand, DEMAND I tell ya, that the Repubs begin an investigation.
For the Dems assert constantly that this administration is dishonest and awash in a culture of corruption.
So why is the justice department investigating Republicans like this?
Who’s lying here?

Certainly it won’t be much of a surprise to find out that the not so good Senator is a crook.
What would be a huge surprise would be if the IRS and the Bush Justice Department investigated a high level Demoncrat. But, that wouldn’t be in the spirit of being a “uniter, not a divider.”

It’s a way of political life in Alaska. Wasn’t always this way. When there was plenty of dough to go around there wasn’t so much complaining, but it’s tightening up and opponents are looking at misuse of letterhead stationery as good enough reason to make an issue.

The hole the RINOcrat-Spineless-Loser-Chicken S**t-Weasles-Bums-Cut & Hide from Marxist’s-Whining-Chicken S**t (repeat several times) just keeps getting deeper and deeper. The chances that the Marxist’s will gain total control of the US government in 2008 grows hourly. The end of the Republic is in sight, and these bums in the RINOcrat party in Congress and with the total loser Jorge W. Bush assisting them daily, the Republic is Damned to ruin. Thanks Jorge and your fellow liberals in the RINOcrat party. You have basically destroyed the Republic.

Wow. You guys are out for blood. I personally don’t think Stevens is guilty. He’s a politician, yes, but he’s not stupid and this would be really stupid. As far as the bridge to no where, that propaganda story has been so used, abused and twisted it will never rise from the ashes with any credibility, but there really is another side to that story. Lighten up you guys. Alaska is heads and shoulders above most states for the “good guy” column.

For all the antagonist that can’t stand the money Ted has brought to Alaska, I will remind every one AGAIN that over 70% of the State - the largest state in the union - is owned by the Federal Government. Stevens has brought Federal money here to predominately fund Federal land issues. If the Liberal Dems want to keep 70% of the state out of State hands, then they must pay for it.
To: RetiredArmy
I guessing that when you contemplated what your FR handle was going to be, Mr. Sunshine never made the list.

To: Jet Jaguar
If Stevens is guilty, he should go to prison.
That said, what is taking so long to indict Jefferson; and why is the FBI not investigating Reid’s land deals in NV and Feinstein’s connections to government construction constracts which she helped send to her husands business?
The IRS, FBI, and DoJ are run by liberals who won’t prosecute Democrats. Why did Berger get a nothing sentence over serious felonies involving national security and Libby was denied a fair trial.
To: Petronski
Then the grand kleagle should have a bunch of worrying to do.
