olbermann’s rhetoric is coming from tillmans mom, mary tillman. she has spoken out against the pentagon and bush administration for not telling the truth. pat, according to his mother, was against the iraq war which he did a tour in.

A Pentagon source said Pat Tillman was killed when his Rangers patrol was attacked by small arms fire and mortars during a coordinated ambush. Two other U.S. soldiers were wounded and one enemy combatant was killed during the ambush. Tillman was the only U.S. soldier killed, sources said.
i hope as you read these articles and IT proved what i wrote was the first offical story (see above, combat fighting) you will be honest with at least yourself. someone can prove me wrong, other than tillman, i dont recall anyone awared the silver star for getting killed (as the offical story reads) by friendly fire. do you?

The projectile is totally jacketed. It is not designed to change shape or fragment on the target but it sometimes will. It has a velocity of 3,200 fps. I have see them at close range, in a person’s head, leave a small entrance wound and an equally small exit wound. However, this supersonic round is supposed to jelly the contents of the skull as it zips through. The high velocity transfers so much energy it creates a wide wound track of dead tissue.
3 holes from an M-16 leaving 3 round hole. the one guy I saw had a hole near his eye, in his cheek and took part of his jaw and ear off. The one in his cheek split his face apart almost.

In the case I’m recalling—in South Vietnam—the target was hit three times at close range in the head with part of an automatic burst from an M16. I was surprised that the wounds were so small and the man’s (an NVA soldier) skull did not seem deformed in any way. An M14 or a .45 would have made a mess. Of course, if you could look inside the man’s skull it would be like jelly.

i thought it was a stretch to tie an assassination into it as well. see earlier post.
others though were writing all along that the official story was friendly fire. if you read the links, that was not the case. it was tillman and his squad battled with taliban forces. mortars, machine gun fire, etc... average day on the battle field, right?
than we read later from the pentagon that tillman’s squad (unit, etc) did not battle with any taliban and infact did not come under fire. so we find out that it was friendly fire. as i am writing this, i do remember that two other members of his squad were also killed. well that begs more questions. since we now know that it was friendly fire and NO (shift key) taliban in the area, did two others die that night from his squad or was that part of the offical story we were led to believe and it now is not true. i hope no one from his squad was killed that night from friendly fire.
so do we believe the first story that he fought heroically against the taliban and died along with two other brave soldiers? pat, earning i might add, the silver star. or do we, after the investigations believe the friendly fire? now, i would like to know since i begun writing this, did two other soldiers die that night as the first story indicated. if not, as i believe they did not, is a bigger lie that someone needs to come clean with. the official

can’t answer your question regarding the mind of tillman. my guess/opinion is maybe he did agree with the war after 911. remember, he did give up a great career in the NFL to go over and fight for freedom. however, became disillusioned with the war in iraq, which he also did a tour there. again, speculation. that does happen. my guess is only from an article i read from a former army comrade who served with him in iraq that said he was not happy with the war in iraq and tillman thought it was illegal.
it happens, we all join something and become displeased with the results and move on or suck it up. in this case, as soldier, he would have had to suck it up and obey orders. remember, this is just speculation because all we have is the word of his mother, and the soldier who served side by side with him in iraq. not to be confused with the one who was with him in afganistan the night that he was killed.

Something Keith the retard may be missing is that perhaps they are withholding the truth in this matter to maintain some sort of dignity and honor with the high profile death of Tillman.
