Yes, I am politically quite conservative on most issues, and will vote for the same candidates as most Freepers. There really is not much of a difference in the parties regarding animal issues.
But don’t these vegans eat vegetables and fruits? These are living, growing organisms. How do they know that plant life doesn’t feel pain when you pluck and bite into it? How dare they sacrifice a living being for their own personal consumption needs?
I think it’s time for these hypocritical vegans to learn how to subsist on a healthy diet of rocks, dirt and sand. That way, they don’t have to worry about killing other forms of life merely to extend their own lives.
