I'll pass without comment the claim I'm a shill for Guiliani. What I'll let every one know is I thought the people of Illinois ought to have elected Alan Keyes to the Senate. Now THAT's principled conservative leadership. Instead, they elected an empty suit named Barack H. Obama, who had a pretty face and never met a pro-abortion bill he didn't like. I think we may need to pay a price for our convictions. And no - winning isn't everything. Without core beliefs, its nothing.

But, there is no disputing Dr. Keyes points about Mr. Thompsons Stephen Douglas-like position vis a vis the personhood of the unborn and their inalienable right to life. EV, we've been through this a million times. It's best to overturn Roe vs Wade and let folks in their respective states fight to ban abortion. I would like to see a Constitutitonal amendment pass too but it simply ain't happening considering the liberalism of two-thirds of all the states.
Fred Thompson is pro-life, there's no debate here.
