Exactly. RP is an idiot. he has no memory of Pol Pot and the killing fields, after we pulled out of Vietnam. He doesn't get the fact that the islamofacists will follow, and, the blood bath that would follow would be horrendous. He has no clue to clue to what peace through strength is about.

Following the rules.

He just said neo-conservative. Drink! Well, Ron Paul is a paleo-conservative, like Pat Buchanan. They are both wrong about the war.

Question to Ron Paul: Does Al Qaeda bear a little blame for Iraq? Still awaiting the transcript of todays Republican presidential candidate debate to be posted, but here at Extreme Mortmans vacation headquarters we counted at least two times Ron Paul faulting neo-cons or neo-conservatives for the Iraq war. Well be closely scrutinizing the transcript to see if Al Qaeda likewise merited blame from Rep. Paul. http://www.extrememortman.com/presidential-election/neo-paulitan/

I still can’t believe this guy is a Republican. Ron Paul only brings the party down through association.

You must have missed the debate. As Paul said, he voted to go after Al Qaeda in Afghanistan. The decision to intervene in Iraq (which was based on a utopian agenda of spreading democracy) was a completely different matter. Of course, the secularist Saddam hated Al Qaeda.

I have to admit that I didn't know much about Ron Paul before this interview, other than the fact that he seems to do very well in every online poll ever listed (even the one where people had the choice between A. Pancakes B. Waffles or C. Ron Paul) so I now I have to admit after seeing and hearing the interview I would now have to throw my support behind..........

RP is an idiot. he has no memory of Pol Pot and the killing fields, after we pulled out of VietnamAnd that represents a threat to our borders again how? How is Vietnam doing now after 30 years of trade?
He doesn't get the fact that the islamofacists will follow, and, the blood bath that would follow would be horrendous
How are the majority of them going to get here? How will they occupy our land? What sort of military force are they going to use? Do you not think 300 million+ people are eventually going to stand up against them and send them back to the Middle East?

Thanks for the pics, everyone.
I notice everyone seems to be posting the same photo. This makes me wonder. When you post on FR, using an HTML tag with a link to a photo, does one need to worry about copyright issues?
After all, you’re not actually posting the photo, you’re posting a link to a photo. On the other hand, the photo appears right in the post.
So, if I were to find Ms. Banderas’ photo somewhere on the Fox News Channel website, and link to the photo as a source, so the photo actually appeared in my post.
Would I be out of compliance with copyrights?
Don’t get me wrong. I want more pics of JB, just wondering about what the regs are, copyright wise.

....he should just become a Democrat. He should just become a Democrat because he agrees with them on abortion, taxation, the role of the federal government, regulation of everything in everyday life, right? Or maybe what you are trying to say is that if you disagree with George Bush on how to fight the WOT, you can't be a Republican.

Great point...he should just become a Democrat. For Republicans who actually care about small government (admittedly they are a dying breed) and haven't sacrificed everything on the alter of foreign policy that is a silly statement. Even a cursory look at his votes would show that he is the leading opponent of higher taxes and spending in Congress---bar none.
To: bnelson44
blame for Iraq? In what sense? Our decision to enter the war, 9-11, the current quagmire there? What do you mean?
To: Austin Willard Wright
Maybe it's just me but the Breaking News sidebar has gotten kind of incomprehensible the last few months. Major stories don't make it. Minor stories hang on it for a week or more. And a mini-interview with Ron Paul is considered Breaking.
It used to be this section really was Breaking News.
