In this case, I was just minding my own business, skimming news titles in the UK Sun
The Sun Online - News Sentence for 'lesbian bigamist'
and I thought to myself..."Wow! This is the sort of earth-shattering, essential news that the FReepers would want to know about!" So I checked to see if BBC had a better story, which it really didn't, and because of the incredibly time-sensitive, breaking nature of this essential story I stopped searching for a better article and just posted the BBC version.
I feel confident that I've gotten a lasting, 'can't live with out it' piece of news out to the American public and have improved the worldwide quality of life as a result. :-0
