DOING THE MATH... If I’m interpreting this right...

$13,200,000
divided by 2000
averages $6,600 for liver, surgery and hospital stay?

First, this is surely wholesale atrocity in human trafficking and worse.

Second, this is an interesting baseline as to the hard costs of major surgery where malpractice and other tort issues are not much of a factor.

God help us.

In China, many humans are part of disposable resource. That is, if you are not smart or do not have any critical talent or enough money, you are as good as another tree.

Having huge population creates this creeping disregard for human life. It is an old story, exacerbated by the current communist regime.
