HOW many ways can you define "suicidal"?
The school hasn't even opened yet. But the hijab-wearing principal of a taxpayer-funded school founded especially for Arab students has issued a fatwa against the kids of New York.
She said there is nothing wrong with intifada.
And the principal of the Khalil Gibran International Academy - scheduled to open next month less than two blocks from that hotbed of radical Muslim thought, Brooklyn's Atlantic Avenue - argued about the definition of the word that has sent so many to their graves.
But after a day of outrage and calls for her head, the principal, Dhabah "Debbie" Almontaser, apologized.
What a fiasco! It had to be orchestrated by - who else? - the city's Department of Education.

New Yorkers are crazier - and dumber - than I thought if they allow this to proceed. When is the city opening explicitly Christian and Hebrew schools?

"This woman should not be principal of any school," Councilman Peter Vallone Jr. said. "This shirt should read, 'I promote terror and hate on a daily basis, and all I got for it is this lousy T-shirt.' " Good one, Councilman!

Why is it that muslims always have to explain the meanings of their words, like jihad, intifada, fatwa, to differentiate them from how we see them put into action? Here's a word to muslims and I don't mean to differentiate it from its historical context: CRUSADE!

I am opposed to this school for several reasons:
We hve no idea of teh lesson plan. it sounds like a madrassa, with public funds.
We should be teaching kids in English, not in hundreds of different languages.
It’s discriminatory to hvae a school just for the Arabic community when we don’t hve schools exclusively for all other communities.
And it’s a dihonor to the good name of Khalil Gibran.

The School does a great job of supporting Terrorism. They could have helped the liberal/progressives start an Intifada right here in the United States! </O>

The t-shirt should read: “I promote terror and hate on a daily basis, and all I got for it was a taxpaer funded school and principal’s salary”.
