Gingrich calls Sen. Clinton a ‘formidable professional’
Statesman ^ | Tuesday, August 7, 2007, 02:37 PM | By Bob Deans

Posted on 08/07/2007 7:31:29 PM PDT by Perdogg

It fell shy of an endorsement, to be sure, but former House Speaker Newt Gingrich lauded Democratic presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton on Tuesday, saying those who think the New York senator can’t run the White House are “just wrong.”

What a frickin idiot this man has become. First, jumping the shark on global warming, then calling the war on terror “phony”, now sniffing the crotch of Hillary’s pantsuit.

Goodbye Newt. You were good once.

How could anyone want to work for that beast.

Newt is a fricking joke, he shouldn't even be an advisor in a future GOP administration. Blech!

Newt did not have the moral authority to impeach Clinton, it was left to Tom Delay. Now he does not have the moral authority to question Hillary’s character which should always be an issue. I guess he is still haunted by those FBI files. I am sick of wishy washy namby pamby Republicans. The Clintons are criminals and have things to answer for. The question is, does she have the moral authority to be President, her husband did not.

She is, after all, a Professional Woman. That is her expertise. Not a woman who is professional. Not a professional who is a woman. Hillary is sui generis -- The Professional Woman.

No matter how man-like. Actually it helps that she's manly. Or man-like. The top of the muffin, so to speak.

That only makes her moreso the supreme example of "The Professional Woman".

Nobody says that Hillary Clinton isn't a professional: she learned all of the tricks of crisis management and character assassination while she was managing Bill's bimbo eruptions.

The only question at issue during the coming election season should be whether Hillary Clinton is the woman most worthy of being remembered until the end of time as the first female President of the United States. If you think she's worthy, vote for her. If you love and respect your country, vote against her.

And I should have added that even the phrase ‘bimbo eruptions’ is an example of Hillary’s ability to character assassinate with the best of them.

Just another in a long line of stunts that always make me question why people think he is a conservative. His last big boner, IMO, was Green Conservatism. I think he's practicing Idiotic Conservatism now.

If I recall correctly, before Green Conservatism he did something else with Mrs Clinton but I forget what. He should just leave the GOP and found the Gingrich Party 'cause he seems like he's always off in his own little world anyhow.

To tell you the truth, I really don’t want a woman President, I am a woman myself. I’m all for women having a career. But who says we have to have a woman be President? Maybe if we could find someone like Margaret Thatcher, that would be different, but that’s a big if. I feel no need to have a woman President. I don’t think it is an essential. As a matter of a fact, I think we would be better off it we didn’t have one. I don’t know who the hell Hillary thinks she is. She’s certainly not Patriotic, what the hell does she want to be President for anyways? She sure as hell doesn’t love the United States. So my only question is, what the hell does that witch want? She’s liberal to the point of being a traitor. She’s not wanted. I think the people who want her have lost their minds. They certainly seem to be lacking something, that’s for sure. And it ain’t good.

I'm one of those who likes to knock Newt. It's almost as easy as knocking Barry Bonds or Lindsay Lohan. But I watched his speech today. It was a good, thoughtful speech, and his comments about Hillary were not out of line.

He's not saying anything Rush Limbaugh isn't saying. He's saying take her seriously.

“Gingrich was always cowed by the Clintons. It was his undoing. Nothing new here.”

I never did like him from the get-go. He sounded way too mean from the start. I never did trust him, even when other conservatives were applauding him. Something about him didn’t sit well with me. He was obviously black-mailed or kicked in the groin somehow. I’m not impressed, especially if he is any indication of the character of others in the Senate. I hope we have better people then that, I really do.
