Twice my allergist told me I was on the very edge of pneumonia, as he said “one more day and you’ll be in hospital.” That was bad enough. I can only imagine how bad full pneumonia is.

An allergist can only help, in any case can’t hurt.
Mr.FF and I both go to an allergist, have for nearly 20 years (he’s gone a little longer than I). Doc is chief of immunology at one of the county’s leading hospitals and really knows his stuff. Since I got serious about it (and the onset of asthma) he’s helped a lot.

Yes, your surroundings are key, which is where I was headed with my questions.
My son had terrible extrinsic asthma problems until he changed schools. Voi La! No more asthma attacks.
Molds and dust mights and in old cities or neighborhoods, the roach droppings are a killer.
