Yes it was sad to hear about Merv. I remember as a kid watching his tv show on in the adternoon. I remember watching Charo on there all the time. And David Brenner. And Shelly Winter. And Don Rinkles.

The passing of Merv Griffin doesn’t come as a total shock, as his condition was made public late last week. When I heard about his condition, it was a big surprise to me, though. It’s very sad.

The problem issue with Huckabee has been his fiscal record and the growth of the size of government during his run as governor in Arkansas. Much of that, he claims, was court-ordered and not negotiable.
Me, too. (Just now catching the end of it.)
Witless just tried to play Huckabee against Thompson, if Huckabee didn’t set it up with him ahead of time.
I know. I’m cynical.
Maybe a minimal draft. In the future we may need a bigger military so we may need to offer more educational incentives to attact people to the military. If that does not work a draft may be possible. But for right now I think that’s a few years down the line.
