Apologies if this has been posted already...I searched and could not find it or any related stories.

Don’t blame them.....a few churches are probably considering the same thing after yesterday’s massacre in Missouri

How about letting those with permits carry wherever, whenever. It’s not like people with CCW’s are the ones holding up banks or committing mass murder.

Guns aren’t illegal in Virginia churches as far as I know.

I seriously doubt you’ll be seeing them in courtrooms any time soon. Just look at the number of law-abiding, permit-holding Freepers who swear they would kill anybody who raped/molested/killed a loved one.

Virginia Tech officials haven't actively lobbied against attempts to modify the state's law, spokesman Larry Hincker said, but the university's position on weapons hasn't changed after the shootings. "We don't believe that guns have any place in the classroom," Mr. Hincker said. "We've experienced far more of guns in the classroom than any university should have to endure."Keep burying your head in the sand....

Point.
Courthouses, jails and airports.
Frankly having one in the car means I would have to park across the street from a school.

I’m sure we’ll see all major media outlets breathlessly reporting this one.

I like the person quoted in the article: “Guns don’t belong in classrooms.”
Obviously, Cho had a different opinion.
And obviously, CCW holders should be permitted to carry on campus, church, etc.

They do have the right to defend themselves. One's Second Amendment rights do not end at the schoolhouse door.

“Im sure well see all major media outlets breathlessly reporting this one.”
It’s certainly been all over the Virginia media.

In fact, the Wash Times is rather behind on the story. I first saw it weeks ago.

Self-defense is a basic human right.
There should be no “gun laws” and every American has the right to carry & defend person and habitat.
Gun laws disarm free citizens.
