As Newark cops yesterday continued hunting for three people suspected in a grisly schoolyard massacre there, residents said several of the men were part of a notorious street gang.
It also emerged that one of the fugitives, Rodolfo Godinez, obtained a green card in 2001 and was allowed to stay in the United States despite later robbery and assault arrests, immigration authorities said yesterday.Godinez pleaded guilty to lesser charges.
His fellow fugitives include his 16-year-old brother and another youth, both of whom attended Mount Vernon School, the scene of the Aug. 4 triple slaying. Recently, Godinez's brother and another youth already nabbed in the murders "started bragging on how they were part of this gang, MS-13," said a classmate.
Also known as Mara Salvatrucha, the ruthless MS-13 gang operates in the United States and Central America.

Well, thank goodness Newark is a Sanctuary City, or all these illegal aliens might live in fear of law enforcement!

We have become so afraid of being called racists or xenophobes that we allow violent criminal illegal aliens to roam our streets.
I believe that both Senators Lautenberg, Menendez, the judge who let him out on bond, and the mayor of the sanctuary city where he lived should be culpable in these murders. If these people won’t do their jobs, and are hell bent on keeping these illegal aliens in this country to commit these horrific crimes, then they should held accountable for any crime committed by any illegal alien in their state. They should all be named as co-conspirators.
Make a call to both Lautenberg and Menendez and let them know that you hold them responsible for these murders too.

I hope they sent their message to the Newark mayor and to the lovely John Corzine. Sending these messages to true believers is good, but sending them to those who need to wake up is better. Hard to understand why this isn’t being described as a race crime.
Aside from the America-hating left and the ACLU, how many would seriously object if all such street gangs were rounded up and executed on the spot as a favor to the future?
If I were one of the curretn 2008 GOP Presidential Candidates I would start running ads featuring those murderers, the insanity of our porous borders, the fact kids were executed, and that there is more of this to come, if we dont build that wall and begin immediate full scale deportations and sweeps.
Come on Trancredo, Hunter, or whomever, go for it.

This issue--as viewed in this framework--will mobilize millions of Republicans like nothing else.

Gun ownership is not a verb. Decrying is, but that is a bad sign also. Usually, when the anti-gun rhetoric starts in instances like this; it’s because not enough is about to be done about it. The politicians start it so the MSM can focus on something else besides the problem at hand, because the politicians lack the competence to see justice through.
To a liberal, talking about something is the same as doing something.

I am mortified by the crimes committed against American citizens, over and over and over again by illegals. You must have to sell your soul to the devil in order to be in government. I will tell you this though, for the life of me I cannot understand the lack of outrage in the community. They would riot in the streets if a young gang banger was shot by a cop while committing a crime, yet, 4 young people who avoided all of the drugs, crime and pregnancy, 4 young people who were strong enough not to let that cesspool of a city eat them alive and not a peep. My heart breaks for the victims and their families.
Notice that Jesse is not seen comforting the families of the victims and Sharpton is not seen leading a march for justice for the victims. What happened? Three promising young black teenagers are dead and a fourth is in the hospital w/police security.
Will the black community begin to question their so-called leaders NOW?
