IN LINE OF FIRE; PROSECUTOR'S TEST IN NEWARK SLAYS (lib protects illegal criminals)
NY POST ^ | August 13, 2007 | JEANE MacINTOSH

Posted on 08/13/2007 1:32:00 PM PDT by Liz

Essex County Prosecutor Paula Dow has for years drawn criticism - and infuriated police - with her unwritten rule not to issue arrest warrants, or even pursue cases that rely on a lone eyewitness. Court records show more than a dozen Newark murders in the past three years in which witnesses had ID'ed the killers but no charges weren brought by Dow's office. Dow's "policy" seemed about to rear its head in the wake of the triple schoolyard slayings

The victims' parents need to contact U.S. Dept of Justice---Civil Rights Division---Washington, DC.

The US Dept of Justice's SPECIAL LITIGATION SECTION investigates state and local law enforcement agencies alleged to engage in a pattern or practice of violating citizens' federal rights, and may bring civil lawsuits to remedy such abuses.

The federal criminal civil rights statutes provide for prosecutions of conspiracies to interfere with the citizenry's federally protected rights, and deprivation of rights under color of law.

Federal law makes it unlawful for State or local law enforcement officers to engage in a pattern or practice of conduct that deprives citizens of rights protected by the Constitution or laws of the United States.

Dow admitted there was an "issue" with Carranza's bail but said the "uproar" was "going to have to wait for another day."

LS,

Please do not post unfounded personal attacks or FR. You know the site is constantly watched by BOR and the MSM for just such tidbits.

I agree that she is a worthless waste when it comes to her job and should be removed, impeached, investigated and prosecuted under the law post in the OP but I do nor wish death on her nor do I know if she is a whore.

That really depends on how you look at the word. In fact the American Heritage Dictionary has this as one of the meanings

A person considered as having compromised principles for personal gain.

Sounds like she fits that meaning perfectly. Not that she really has any principles.

I agree, but you KNOW that is not the definition that will be applied by the MSM. ;)

“Court records show more than a dozen Newark murders in the past three years in which witnesses had ID’ed the killers but no charges weren brought by Dow’s office.”

Now tell me again why citizens don’t need CCW laws for their own protection!

Her record as a defense attorney improved greatly once she became a prosecutor.

From another story in DelawareOnline: “Essex County, N.J., Prosecutor Paula Dow blamed the prevalence of guns” for these murders. I see no reason why these should not be prosecuted as race crimes. If we are going to have race crime laws on the books, and I am in no way endorsing that, surely this is the kind of situation in which they should be applied.

More stuff that garners unprintable response: “But Dow soon found herself facing a new round of criticism when it emerged that Carranza is an illegal immigrant who was freed - twice - on bail this year after HER OFFICE charged him first with assault and then the repeated rape of a 4-year-old girl.”

A A A A

Acronym for Another Affirmative Action A(irhead). You may substitute another word at the end that rhymes with "mole."
