Dr. Alveda King on New Crime Statistics: We Have Sown the Wind of Death in Abortion Clinics
Christian Newswire ^ | 8/15/07 | Christian Newswire

ATLANTA, August 15 /Christian Newswire/ -- Dr. Alveda King, Pastoral Associate of Priests for Life and the niece of Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr., today reacted to the release of new Department of Justice crime statistics showing African Americans to be the victims of nearly half of the murders committed in 2005.

"That 49 percent of all Americans murdered are black is shocking," said Dr. King. "That 93 percent of those people are victims of black on black crime is not really surprising. The abortion industry has told African Americans for decades that killing our own children is beneficial, even therapeutic. We bought their lies and life in the inner city has become cheap."

"You want another shocking statistic?" asked Dr. King. "Black women are now three times more likely to abort than white women. Yes, 8,000 African Americans were murdered by guns and knives in 2005, but hundreds of thousands more were terminated by more socially acceptable weapons. We have sown the wind of death in abortion clinics and reaped the whirlwind of violence in our streets."

"The killing has to stop," declared Dr. King. "If we are to restore our communities and our families, respect for individuals has to begin when their lives begin, in the womb."

I’m neither shocked nor surprised.

And, while I think that the abortion “culture of death” doesn’t help, it’s just one segment of the self destructive culture that thrives in black communities everywhere in America.

The KKK could not in their wildest dreams have caused the black community as much damage as modern liberals have, and now it is being self-inflicted.

Indeed. It is amazing to what degree the black American community continues to embrace liberalism/Democrats.

The elimination of the “lesser races” was one of Margaret Sanger’s main goals when she began The Birth Control League which was later re-named Planned Parenthood. What I find hard to wrap my mind around is that so few, especially in the black community, know that or even want to hear about it. This niece does great honor to her uncle’s legacy by her efforts to stop this genocide, not only in the black community, but everywhere.

The elimination of the “lesser races” was one of Margaret Sanger’s main goals when she began The Birth Control League which was later re-named Planned Parenthood.

And it had its roots in the Eugenics Society that started by Charles Darwin's cousin Francis Galton and later led by Darwin's son Leonard.

Aside from Sanger, the eugenics movement was also supported by Justice Oliver Wendell Holmes, Jr. (who wrote that, "three generations of imbeciles is enough" in his opinion upholding forced sterilization of "lesser" people) and of course the Nazis.

Not so amazing when you consider that the black community (and particularly black political leadership) has sold it’s collective soul to the welfare state and racial identity politics.

Killing is beneficial and therapeutic? What is that supposed to mean?

Yes, Sanger believed the eugenicists needed to get the pastors on board and get clinics to offer free “services.”

Sanger’s legacy has been very effective at ridding the country of those who are not “thoroughbreds.”

Congratulations, Dr. King, for speaking up.
