BURTONSVILLE, Md. -- The man arrested and charged in the hit-and-run accident that killed two members of a road crew has told authorities he is in the U.S. illegally.
Manuel De Jesus Gonzalez-Geronimo, 31, is a Guatemalan living in Hyattsville. He surrendered to police early Tuesday morning to face charges in the Monday accident on Route 29 in Burtonsville.
The construction workers were taking a break and sitting on a guardrail when they were hit by a van that also hit a construction truck.
The van driver ran from the scene.
Martin Ruffin, of Baltimore, and James Cronin, of Glen Burnie, died, and three co-workers were injured.
Police spokeswoman Lucille Baur said Gonzalez-Geronimo revealed during his bail hearing that he is an undocumented worker. He is being held without bond.
OH well! I’m sure his liability insurance will cover everything!!!!
This is getting to be a really bad trend...illegals getting bombed on whatever they’re drinking or smoking and taking out U.S. Citizens in traffic smashups.

Tell the cops your an illegal alien and you get special treatment...probably deported for your crime, but what the heck....lay low for a while and then sneak back in again and repeat the process.

The source is biased, so you have to decide whether or not you choose to believe it. I don’t know if I believe it. But with the huge numbers of illegals in criminal gangs and in prison, it is very suggestive that a lot of Americans have been killed by illegal aliens.
I am not really complaining, because I think most of US citizen victims are also criminal gang-bangers. But I could be wrong. We don’t really know how many murders, home-invasions and rapes illegals are committing, but it must be a considerable number.
I also don’t believe the low number 13,000,000 bandied about for illegals. I think 20,000,000 is a basement and could be as many as 25,000,000 illegals in America. Most of these are going to be young men, since that is the demographic of most illegals that come in to try to get jobs. They may later bring wives and children, but the numbers have to be skewed toward young men — which is also the highest demographic for criminals.
Demand a border fence! Build it NOW!! Beef up the border patrol and close our borders! Stop the DREAM Act!!
