Almost 4 bucks for a 10 lb sack of potatoes. We get fresh eggs from friends. I quit buying orange juice, even the frozen concentrate is pretty expensive. Don’t even mention fresh fruit.

I don’t know where you shop but here in Wisconsin most foods are still fairly cheap, I can still get a pint of strawberries for $3.00 and get bulk potatoes for $1-2 FOR A 5lb bag. OJ still is around $4.00 per gallon for the good stuff.

I struck gold at the day-old produce rack today - bing cherries for $1.28lb and redskin potatoes (the ONLY kind I'll make mashies with) for $.24lb.

I stopped buying my beloved orange juice last spring and buy bread at the Hostess thrift shop (prices have gone up there too, but not as much as the grocery store).

I can still get milk at Sam's for $2.79 a gallon. If it goes much higher, the kids will be eating dry cereal!
