Could it be possible that many of the border patrol agents, because they are Mexican Americans, look the other way when it comes to stopping illegals?
To: Old Phone Man
Not likely. Most “Mexican-Americans” are pretty much American, period, at least the ones who were born and grew up here before “diversity” became the mantra.

The Border Patrols mission is to keep the country safe from terrorist and terrorist weapons, he said. Carrillo added that when and if terrorists come into the country, the agents will be ready. And if Muslim terrorists posing as Hispanics come traipsing over the border...?

I’d like to hear a recording of this, just to be sure that it’s being reported accurately. Even if the guy actually thinks this, I have a hard time believing that he’d say it.
Oh, and he’s right about the cane. I was next to the Rio Grande and the stuff is impenetrable. I couldn’t see the river at all where the cane was growing.

“the fence would affect relations with Mexico”
And that could really slow down that NAU thing. Bummer./s
Why make an extra effort to associate with a criminal element? Unless you want to muscle in on the profits....

Carlos X. Carrillo, chief patrol agent for the Laredo sector, said at a town hall meeting Wednesday."The Border Patrol is not equipped to stop illegal immigrants," Carrillo said, noting that illegal narcotics are also not on the agents priority list.,

"Border Patrol agents dont have the responsibility of apprehending illegal immigrants, Carlos X. Carrillo, chief patrol agent for the Laredo sector, said at a town hall meeting Wednesday."The Border Patrol is not equipped to stop illegal immigrants," Carrillo said, noting that illegal narcotics are also not on the agents priority list. "The Border Patrol mission is not to do any of those things," he emphasized."

Carlos X. Carrillo
How do you know he’s not an agent and active supporter of LA Raza?
How do you know he’s not some ‘naturalized’ citizen who’s infiltrated our Gov’t and actually working for ‘his people’?
To: SwinneySwitch
Hmmmm
Back in 2001 Carlos was only “assistant chief U. S. Border Patrol”
Somebody must like what he’s doing....
Funny tho, he’s apparently only concerned with OTM illegals:
http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=24987
But even then, it’s not their job, it’s the FBI’s:
“Carlos X. Carrillo, assistant chief U. S. Border Patrol, Tucson Sector, told WorldNetDaily in a telephone interview Monday that nine Yemenis were reportedly holed up in a hotel in the border town of Agua Prieta, Sonora, Mexico, across the border from Douglas, Ariz.
“We have passed this tip to the FBI,” said Carrillo.
Why is this incompetent asshat still employed and getting promotions?
To: Little Ray
I grew up in San Francisco and most Mexicans Americans felt the same way. They were proud of their heritige just like all the rest of us...Americans First! Thanks for setting me straight.
To: PissAndVinegar
precisely because he is an incompentent asshat skilled at fellatio.
