I wish these lefty wackos were just as strongly opposed to illegal aliens, as they are the war....they have no clue of this disconnect in their arguments!
We have lost more than 10 times the numbers of troops in Iraq and Afghanistan to illegals on our own soil! Drunken drivers and murder.

Same impression I got. He shouldn't have tried to sugar coat it. That's where Repubs get into trouble--always trying to say things in the nice way and always apologizing. Sometimes saying something in a nice way and/or apologizing isn't the correct tactic. When it comes to the lefties it's more often not the correct tactic than it is.

I was a Regan Republican. Neither Romney nor Thompson will do well in Dixie, after they insulted the South over the Confederate flag. It cost David Beasley, Jim Hodges, Roy Barnes their jobs. It cost McCain his win in SC in 2000. You yankees never learn.
