A resurgent Pauline Hanson has called for an end to Muslim immigration to Australia in a fiery television appearance peppered with references to female genital mutilation, terrorism and urinating on Bibles.

Ms Hanson, the 53-year-old former One Nation leader, appeared on Nine's TODAY to promote her new Pauline's United Australia Party.

The English did this once, in the days of the raj in India. They banned the practice of suttee: ie. the burning alive of widows of men that had died. Mark Steyn wrote about it in his book 'America Alone': the British commander that ordered the ban stated that 'if you build the pyre to kill the widow in accordance with your traditions, we'll follow our traditions and build a gallows to hang you right next to it.'

We can only hope that the West can muster up the courage that it once had to stand up to evil, regardless of its 'religious' or 'cultural' cloak.

Here in the US? The last time was probably on the airplanes that hit the twin towers on 911. If they get Sharia law pass I’m sure it will become more frequent. Honor killings have happened here as well. Muslims are making better progress in England so its more common there.

So you’re a muslim apologist eh. How many muslims are condeming the terror attacks? Sure don’t see many of those out there. In some places the practice of honor killings have been outlawed. Now the family use other methods like giving the young girl a gun with one bullet and lock her in a small room. There she stays until she chooses the ‘honorable’ thing.

It is silly to try to judge major world religions by the one factor of weeny-whacking, especially since it is practiced in Judaism and Christianity on boys with extraordinary measures for safety. Female genital mutilation is completely barbaric. Old women perform it. One holds the little girl while she screams in agony, and another uses shards of glass or a piece of an old tin can to cut away everything within the labia, throw salt in it, and then sew the wound together with a sewing needle — all without anesthesia — leaving only a tiny opening for urine. The wound must be torn open on marriage by intercourse. It takes weeks for the little girl to recover, especially since urination is then so painful she may pass out. Some girls never recover completely and die from infection or other complications.

I once worked as a writer for pharmaceutical companies. During this period I once witnessed a quick, sanitary circumcision of a male infant in a U.S. hospital, who whimpered once and then was picked up by his mother. There is simply no — no — comparison.

Don’t compare the two. Say what you will about Him, but Christ was a man of peace. For example, when Peter cut off the soldier’s ear, Christ healed him, and told Peter to put his sword away, saying all those who live by the sword shall perish by it. Mohammad on the other hand was a warlord who personally led military campaigns against his neighbors.
