Secretary of Commerce, Herbert Hoover, later to become President in the nineteen twenties, called radio "a public trust." He believed the public airwaves, being owned by the people, should convey no advertisements whatsoever.

Remember when radio/TV personalities endorsed produces (were paid to do it) and didn’t use the product?
So they supply the vehicles, Rush etc all drive them around and GM pays him to talk about it. Big deal.
I think Rush listeners are smarter than Nado-man the green weenie.
