How many people in a deep coma have you seen sit up, speak, eat and cry.
As a result, I made a decision to never let that happen again.
Nevertheless, I believe that Michael Schiavo, George Greer, and George Felos are all responsible for putting an innocent woman to death. While I may be going against my Christian upbringine to say this, George Greer's fears are music to my ears. I wish the same for everyone of them.
The guilt for this crime extends even further, to any other person who had the authority to step in and say, "No".
The President of the U.S. and the Governor of Florida have the duty to protect their citizens. I believe they could have stopped this travesty.
Please enlighten me if I'm wrong.
It is horrendous that Terri's life rested in the decisions of such evil people. And these three are not the only perpetrators. We know who backed them.

The public just does not care.
The fact is that you have to be a lawyer for five years and a resident of the jurisdiction you want to run in. This means as a practical matter no serious lawyer runs against a sitting judge. There is the occasional kook who gets about the 20% anyone-but-incumbants vote, but they are nothing worth mentioning.
The two FL SC judges who ran for retention (iow no opposition just “should we keep them” incumbant protection sceme) after the 2000, did not even bother with a campaign beyond a few puff pieces in professional journals.
People just don’t care. Not approve or disapproval on this issue. They do not care at all.

Perhaps the public was not given the factual information about the case. I know that is at least a part of it. I wonder how the public would view it in this context of actually what happened?.....and this is by no means a complete list of transgressions.

Let's take a look at what Greer did:
He blindly accepted the word of three Schiavos and ignored every one of Terri's friends and her immediate family.
He rejected all testimony from all of Terri's past caregivers and all other professional affidavits in her defense.
He put a non-terminal patient in a hospice for 5 years which is illegal to do - plus approved Medicaid payments for some of her care to boot.
He never seen Terri in person.
He wouldn't let her have her own attorney.
He denied requests that she appear in his court.
He denied requests for swallowing tests that have not been done since 1992.
He denied requests for neurological testing with state of the art modern techniques.
He not only ordered the removal of her feeding tube, he also ordered that she receive no water or nutrition by mouth.
All of the above rulings by Greer were in lock step of what Michael Schiavo and George Felos wanted. George Felos attorneys fees were incidentally paid with Terri's rehabilitation trust fund money that was never spent for her rehabilitation, which was awarded by a jury based on Michael Schiavo's false testimony apparently.

While he and some others may say that those who have been paying attention to every word published on this subject are misinformed, I wholeheartedly disagree.
The facts are out there. We're all privy to the twisted minds of Michael Schiavo and at least some of his family, and the infamous "doctor of death", George Felos. Wow, is that guy weird or not?

Terri’s parents had an attorney but Terri never did and therefore, she was denied due process. Even the SUPREMES denied Terri due process. Too bad Alito and Roberts weren’t on the SUPREMES yet. Maybe if so, Terri would still be alive. The liberal on the supremes have to kill whether it is through abort or euthanize. People who call themselves liberals have no idea what a sordid lot they run with. There’s a book: The Party of Death (it’s about the dems but as you know, many GOP leaders and judges killed Terri too and THEY NEVER SAW THE ENTIRE RECORD. REMEMBER JUDGE GREER WOULD NOT ALLOW ANY EVIDENCE IN TERRI’S FAVOR? All the other courts saw was the same B.S. that were anti-Terri and were ALL LIES. She was killed by a bunch of LIARS.

Judge Greer cheated in his last election. He’s been cheating at many things for a long time.
Remember auditor ROBERT MELTON? He explained to the press how wards get robbed in Pinellas-Pasco, they die and when it's time to set up an estate, all the money is gone, nothing for beneficiaries. THE ESCROW ACCOUNTS ARE DRAINED... Judge Greer and other probate judges are supposed to oversee that program but they are sloppy. Hey, as long as relatives don't know their relative's monies are being ripped off until after they're dead, it just takes a little legal mumbo jumbo for the trustees to say it took all their money for their care.

Jan Govan is brilliant compared to Greer, a former zoning commissioner who we can thank for all the T & A bars all over Pinellas. We can thank Greer for the density in Pinellas Cty. He knew zilch about probate and got lucky in 1993 cuz nobody was running so he slipped right in. He even admitted he didn’t know about probate. That’s why he was so easily manipulated and why he was reversed 2/3 on appeal. He didn’t get reversed on Terri cuz the agenda was way beyond J. Greer’s pay grade. He gets to be the face of her barbaric death though - until all the truth comes out.
