‘”What I’m getting is a sense that their sentiment is they are going to hit the Iranians and not just because of Israel, but due to the fact that Iran is the predominant power in the Gulf and it is hostile and its power is creeping into ‘he Gulf at every level,” Baer says.’
Sounds about right. I’ve been on board with this for months. =:-D

That was a loser movie. My wife, who’s not as politically biased as me but is a movie connoiseur, couldn’t even stand it for its lack of story line. A flick that will be forgotten, maybe already is.

We didn’t bomb anyone! That plant had an explosion caused by:
1. Iran has no equivalent of OSHA
2. Iran has poor or non-existant quality control.
3. Iran shouldn’t have purchased fasteners from the same Chinese salesman that sold bogus AN bolts to the US Navy.

No, we haven’t.
Further, the dynamic has changed quite a bit. Iran is now our major enemy in Iraq. Plus, we can’t draw down forces there with Iran poised to dominate Iraq. Iran must be smacked down, hard.
As a side benefit, Iran’s nuclear program will be set back for years, if not indefinitely.

Bush and Cheney will not leave office with a nuclear Iran. Bingo! Baer is working for his former CIA buds that are activly attempting to sabotage the Bush administrations possibilities of success in either Iraq or Iran!
I suspect Baer's article is a leading indicator of a coming ramp-up in Democrat efforts to tie Bush's hands on Iran. We have already seen some efforts along this line and they will amplify as we get closer to a drop-dead date where Bush has to make a decision.

its power is creeping into the Gulf at every level," Baer says.Walid Phares says the same thing. He believes the flashpoint may be when Iran triggers an attempt at islamic takeover of Saudi Arabia and oil reserves. The US will have no choice but to go in.
To: TigerLikesRooster
Make it so! If not, Israel may be lost and so will we later.

I gotta hunch the 'September-Report' on Iraq is gonna be good news for Bush, and that could be very bad news for Iran.
It is kinda nice that all the dhimmis running for office, and all the ones in charge of the house and senate have spent so much political capital trying to get the USA defeated in the Middle East.
Now if they'll just hold off until after September 17th, I'll be happy ......................... FRegards
