Great Photos From Kennebunport Protest, John Kerry Wannabes Upset With GOE Non-Violent Direct Action
8/25/08 | AP likns

Posted on 08/25/2007 4:59:02 PM PDT by Doctor Raoul

Here's Our guys jumping out in front of their march.

Here's the womenfolk from the Iraq Veterans Against the War (John Kerry Wannabes) getting run off by the police.

More IVAW traitors yapping at our guys. Free speech only for comrades says IVAW traitors..

The Iraq Veterans Against the War are modelled after and mentored by the traitors known as the Vietnam Veterans Against the War. What the VVAW did to smear the Vietnam generation of military, the IVAW is doing to smear this generation of military.

Back in January, they stood by Jane Fonda and helped her smear their own comrades in arms.

VFP and IVAW are two of the 4 groups "interviewed" in The Nation study that is intended to be this generation's Winter Soldier smear. It's to be a book called "Collateral Damage" and it is intended to be what allows the radical left to call this generation "baby killers".

For Pete's sake, the IVAW, at the VFP convention in St Louis, elected a Sandanista as their "Chairman". Of course the also elected Cpl Adam Kokesh "Co-Chair", but on a "non-interference basis" while he's not reading his press clipings.

These guys are a bunch of posers. There's a famous quote from founder Mike Hoffman, "We're the rock stars of the anti-war movemnet."

That's not to say they aren't patriotic in their own way. If the clubs in Columbia Heights or Adams Morgan in DC are ever occupied by foreign troops, IVAW will defend the Wonderland Ballroom to the last beer.

Party on Garth...

You are exactly right. And it helps cull the herd for the next "anti-war" excuse for an anti-American protest.

These things for the longest time were their Mardi Gras, a good time, a chance to see old friends and hate America together.

Well the party's over, swim to Cuba.

What’s with the bandanna mask?

It's mocking their ritual.

They have "anarchists" that wear them. It's a rule with the anarchists.

Funny when their side does it, it's KEWL. But they throw a hissy fit whe they see someone do it to them.

That's a great bit of "Counter-Revolution" by that guy.

I was sorry I missed the event until I noticed that our side is now going with covering our faces. I thought we had made a point with the black block that if you are not ashamed you shouldn't’t cover your face. This is very disappointing to me.

The scumbags’ black shirts (fascist fashion) say it all.

Oh yeah, those are a big deal to them. But the bigger clue is that their logo includes a red star and they are forever running around giving the raised arm, clenched fist communist salute.

Dumb bastards give away the secret of their cause so easily.

Anti-war protesters from the group Iraq Veterans Against the War argue with a counter-demonstrator, right, during a march to the Bush family compound Saturday, Aug. 25, 2007, in Kennebunkport, Maine. Even though President Bush wasn't in town, hundreds of anti-war protesters marched by the Bush summer home.

Some did, one of the loudest voices of IVAW, the one who testified to war crimes wasn't in Iraq. A lot are pretty much screw ups. Some just fell into this as a hobby more or less.

Kennebunkport Chief of Police Joseph Bruni, second from left, confronts an anti-war protester as she argues with a counter protester during a march to the Bush family home Saturday, Aug. 25, 2007, in Kennebunkport, Maine. Activists from a number of states came to a local school to begin a two-mile march to the Bush summer home at Walker's Point. Along the way some pounded drums, chanted and carried signs and banners with slogans such as 'Don't Pay for this War' and 'Care for Vets.' (AP Photo/Joel Page)

I wasn't there, and I wasn't in on the planning, but I'm guessing that they used the bandanna face mask to "fit in" so the lefties wouldn't catch on that they were carrying a banner that was outing the leftists' true intentions.

See, at most of the left's "anti-war" marches, the black bloc usually jumps into the front, from their own "feeder marches" and those black bloc goofs all wear masks.

So, when the lefties see a group of loud, masked yutes jump in front with a hand-scrawled banner, they automatically assume that they are their guys.

It was a good job at going undercover and infiltrating their march.

The lefties are PO'd because our guys "cheated."

LOL!

Freeport’s LLBean was offering a free family
concert tonight(just one of a series)
—John Hiatt, Shawn Colvin.
LLBean and Freeport was
overflowing with tourists/shoppers
as was the Old Port today.
Kennebunkport was not a destination compared to other events going on in Maine...country fairs/Union Fair
blueberry festival.

I don’t think many even took notice of the events down in Kennebunkport.

OK. So I have a tendency to over react.

It's OK.

One of the founders, Hoffman, was reading Zinn and Chomsky before he deployed, so that gives you a clue.

They may have served, but now history has been revised that they all served for patriotic reasons, but that's not to say they were lied to by recruiters about pay, education, etc.

These chumps do not represent myself or my family in any way I feel.

You nailed that one. They are the puzzle piece that fits the media template. In large measure, they are deliberate propoganda. Go back about to years ago to the March issue of The Nation and read "The New face of Protest".

It's an article about a meeting of anti-war groups back before the media saved them by cannonizing Saint Cindy Sheehan. Note the remarks by Charlie Rchardson and nancy Lssin, two radical fossils from the 60's. They founded Military Familes Speak Out, a delibrate effort to manipulate the emotions of the American public, in particular the gratitude they feel towards your two sons.

Richardson and Lessin spoke of how the radical anti-war left was recognized by the public as anti-American at it's core, therefore, they had to use military families (real or pretend) and better yet military members to front their lies.

Military Familes Speak Out was their first false front and I'm pretty sure they're the ones that put Cindy Sheehan in business as "Gold Star Familes For Peace".

IVAW, MFSO and VFp were behind Appeal For Redress which had about 1,100 people sign on and IVAW only numbers about 500. With all the people that are serving or have recently served, 500 is pitiful and that after they offer free BBQ lunches and concerts.

But the media does not tell the facts about these folks.

Last ANSWER march in DC, VFP and IVAW worked with ANSWER to see that the head of the ANSWER march had "veterans" in the front. A propoganda stunt. ANSWER in their flyer "Counter-revolution & resistance In Iraq" ended with "Now is the time for the anti-war movement here and abroad to give unconditional support to Iraq's anti-colonial resistance." That's been around for a long time. These IVAW asses marched with people who told the "resistance" to "keep killing, we support you no matter what" i.e., unconditional support. Worse, ANSWER backs those the IVAW left behind who have to continue the fight. The IVAW are traitors and there's no excuse for marching with ANSWER.

I could go into the World tribunal on Iraq and IVAW's Tim Goodrich testifying to US war crimes, but I'd agravate you too much. The big thing about WTI is that the other anti-war march organizers are "endorsers of the WTI" which also exposes them as traitors. Code Pink, IVAW, UFPJ AFSC and company. The anti-American, pro-communists are not the fringe of these protests, they are the leaders.

Instant classic!

I've been in central Maine the last month, and mostly off line. Who knew that the Freepers were also there at work! I'd have raised a bloody mary for ya from the dock on the pond (Winthrop lakes region).

Speaking of Adams Morgan... my son and I hit up a used book store there last June. Getting to the counter, we grabbed a couple "impeach mints," tins of breath mints with commie garbage about the Prez. The dweeb at the counter gave us a knowing smile as he rang them up. My son was laughing already when I said to the guy, "Yeah! We just love the President!"

The smile turned upside down and he said not a word thereafter. We paid for the book (a really cool WWII-era youth book on aviation) and left him to his self-disgust.
